Good item repaired transmission jack when ball bearing was lost

Worked for me. I was only replacing a lost ball bearing from my bicycle break caliper, but the set was cheap enough to put away for future jobs.

This set of bearings from Peygre arrived in a rigid plastic organiser covered with a heat shrink clear plastic. I’m not a big fan of these containers but thankfully due to the wrapped and the layer of foam in the lid everything stayed in its own section and fully organised.I’ve had a few of the bearings from this set sitting in a pair of small containers alongside some salt water and straight vinegar to check how well they’d hold up in the harsher conditions. They have held up just fine over several weeks in these conditions without any degradation at all. My other simple test involved a strong magnet, which had the slightest pull on the bearings, which does match what I'd expect for an austenitic steel alloy. Which along with the bright silver mirror-like finish and the resistance to rust do indeed point toward this being a proper set of stainless steel bearings.However, just keep in mind that my results reflect the bearings in the specific batch I received and companies can and will switch things out at random. So what you receive may not be from the exact same source, so I'd strongly suggest testing them before you put them into your important paints or bearings etc.The pricing of £9.99 is hard to fault for the quantity of bearings that came in the set and if you’re after a bunch of different sizes then this product should fit the bill. I can’t say how well they’ll last in a mechanical setting, but they’ve been working great for mixing up miniature paints in dropper bottles.

I haven't sat down and counted these or got a set of vernier callipers to check the sizes are exact, nor made any effort to determine they are of any exact roundness.All I can say is I needed ball bearings of a certain size for a 3d printing project, and they have been suitably sized, and suitably round for the task which exactly what I needed. For most uses, as long as the size you need is in this pack you should find these are exactly what you need. The tweezers are a nice inclusion, but for what it's worth I'd rather they'd left those out and included more ball bearings, still you can't knock an included freebie.

This box arrived safely and quickly. That's the good bit. This box of ball bearings is advertised as 700 ,of set sizes. Where the tweezers are there should be 150, 2mm balls ,but there's Non. This box only contains 550 balls. Where is my 150, 2mm ball bearings??????
