Unusual but well made doll. Anecdotaly, I can say it worked immediately on upon arrival. Fortune smiled on us and we received a windfall. Could be coincidence but ... Anyway a well crafted piece of Japanese art.

I hope this helps me generate more fortune and prosperity, because it isn't exactly cheap. I've noticed different variations of these on Amazon with a pretty broad price range. Not sure if that's the materials used or what. In any case, this is a nice looking Daruma. It is a piece to throw on your desk or nightstand. It is well made.

I was not familiar with a Daruma Doll before seeing this but after reading about the purpose of it and that it is supposed to bring you luck and good fortune, I was convinced I needed to get one. This is a really nice version of one, although it is expensive for a small decor item. However, if it does bring me good financial fortune, I will sing its praises!I think it's an excellent quality item, and the painting on it is perfect without any mistakes. Additionally, it was packaged very securely such that it would not suffer damage in the shipping process, which is greatly appreciated. It also came with an octagonal felt mat upon which it should sit. I have placed it in a place of prominence in my home, as it should be, so that I can see it each day and it can hopefully provide me with the riches it is supposed to bring. Nice product overall!

I can see using this in both your home and your business.The quality is quite nice. It's well-crafted, with a nicely manufactured body and good painting on it. Clean lines and nothing sloppy. It's ceramic and the cushion it sits on is a quality felt. It's good quality overall. I don't know if the pricing is warranted for it as I have nothing to base it on, but it seems that the ones that are Made in Japan and do not have painted eyes, are made of paper mache which is why the pricing for those would be less than this ceramic one.I am very pleased with it and it looks and feels good. Would make a lovely gift. Highly recommended.
