Excellent smell and very easy to apply
I'm biased towards this item. I think the Captain Fawcett are a brilliant range of products. The aroma of the Booze and Baccy stirs a long forgotten memory and I love it.Important aspect of a beard balm is the application. This is easy and isn't tacky or too thick. You can easily rung some on your finger tips and massage in to your beard.I'll but this again and again.

Lovely beard balm

Fantastic smell, great hold.
I have tried a few different beard balms, and my beard is currently around 3-4 inches in length with a tendency to curl quite easily. I have found this beard balm excellent to tame my facial hair.I think it has a medium hold, and I only use a small amount, it is slightly more firm than something like Seven Potions Beard Balm, which I personally find a little too oily, but with warm hands it’s easy enough to work through the beard, and style/neaten up with either a boar bristle brush or your hands. I have been complimented several times on the scent, which I think is incredible.I’ve even used a small amount in my head hair in emergency when I have forgot my normal product, and works well (but provides very light hold)I would highly recommend.

Great smell but gets grainy
The product starts to get grainy after a little while which means you end up with little visible grains in your beard. Great smell though just a shame about the grainy bits.

Lovely but not for me.
Lovely balm but seemed too thick for my liking, nice scent but wish it had of been stronger. Also expensive.

Captain Fawcett are the best product brand I have ever used and continue to do so,I've now replaced everything I use to Captain FawcettThe value for money is phenomenal, a little goes a long way with all their products, never been disappointed and I have a pretty high standard with the stuff I use

Highly recommend
As alot of guys with long beards trying to find a barm that does everything you want isn't easy I've spent so much only to throw it awayWas recommended this tried this and it is by fair the best I've ever used big tin for the cost is now my go to
