Gobe 72mm ND64 (6 Stop) ND Lens Filter

No issues at all, works perfectly with no discernible loss in IQ nor colour cast. 10/10

I bought this ND64 to compliment my ND 1000, also from Gobe. I’ve only got 2 lenses so far, (I’ve changed systems) and both have been fitted with a Gobe polarising filter. I’ve came from Hoya and will never go back. I have not noticed any colour cast at all, although anything can be sorted in LR. What I have noticed is perfect deluminance (if that’s a word) across the entire filter. I got a fingerprint on one and it cleaned off with a huff of breath and a rub with a microfibre cloth. This may not seem like a big deal, but if my previous Hoyas got touched, they were near impossible to clean. Each filter comes in a nice padded tin within the recycled cardboard outer. The value for money is there for all to see. These are cheap but don’t feel cheap. The whole package is quality. Unless I move to square filters I won’t be buying anything but Gobe. Awesome!

I have 4 Gobe filters & for the cost of them, in my opinion they’re up there with the more expensive ones, currently own 77mm ND64, ND1000, CPL & a clear one for when I do steel wool photography to protect my lens, also got 58mm CPL as well for another lens, quality is good, had no issue with this filter or any of my other ND filters, what I will say is be careful when stacking them, I regularly use my ND64 or ND1000 + my CPL together & they often get stuck together which is a pain but if your not stacking them it’s not an issue & quality is really good. I’ve only noticed colour cast (slightly) when exposing for 4 mins or more, would certainly recommend them and if I need any more I’d buy Gobe filters again.

Not much to really say that has not already been stated. For the price this is excellent. No obvious vignetting on a 16mm lens, build quality is good, carrier case is excellent. Little stiff to screw in, but not too bad. Docking 1 star because the 'code' I received to activate planting 5 trees came up as 'invalid', which is pretty annoying.

The filter is in my opinion very important during fotography with low shutterspeeds. I am very pleased that Amazone could supply this filter.

Purchased for my Irix 15mm lens as I wanted a screw on filter just to try as I normally use glass filters and the holders. Honestly so glad I tried the Gobe filters. No obvious loss of quality in the final images and no colour casting that I could see. Easy to carry around and saves the bulkiness of the filter system. Great protective carrying tin and each purchase allows you to help plant trees. You won't regret trying these.

I have a few Lee Filters and mostly Formatt Hitech, both are good but expensive. I needed a ND filter for a new lens to use for video and long exposure photography so thought I'd try a Gobe ND. They are excellent, top quality, well made, no picture blur or colour shift, I love the packaging, plus the 5 trees planted simply by buying from Gobe is good karma. I shall definatly be buying more Gobe filters in the future. Keep up the good work.

Got this ND filter for a Tamron 16-300 lens on a Nikon D3500. I wanted to take shots where a longer exposure can be used to enhance the effects of motion (such as running water in the frame) Works great when shooting shots in certain situations like with a waterfall or ocean waves on the shore. The ND filter allows the motion to blur in the shot. Definitely need a tripod when using the ND filter. Love the packaging and the fact that Gobe will plant trees with every purchase (i sincerely hope they are not lying about doing this ~ because Karma can be a Beotch. Well made glass on the filter, and there appears to be no distortion of problems with the filter. Highly recommended.
