This thing works perfectly!
I don't do a ton of edge banding so I can't bear to buy one of the more expensive trimmers, but the cheap ones are junk, so I just hack at it with a razor blade. But this thing is awesome, solid and sturdy, super clean cuts, really easy to use. In fact, if I did this stuff everyday, I'd still choose this one over the fancy ones for it's price and simplicity, get some spare blades and you're all set! I'm not sure why I got so excited over a little tool, but I guess it's the small things in life...lol

Nice, simple tool does its job very well. Nice price!
This worked perfectly, trimmed the edge banding beautifully. This was my first time attaching edge banding, and I was concerned about trimming it, neatly without damaging the surface of the plywood. This made it super simple and very clean. As an added bonus, you can swap the blade around if the first one gets dull.

Nice trimmer, watch the grain direction of the vineer to avoid gouging
Nice trimmer, works well, just watch how the grain of your edge banding (veneer) is running, to prevent it "digging in" to the banding. This is true for all such trimmers.I found it easy to use and quickly trimmed the edging on a 5" x 2" cabinet in less than 15 minutes. It took longer to iron on the edging than to trim it, and it was my first time for both. The blade is reversible, and should last a long time, considering the task it does. It looks like replacement blades are available.A good value.

Good product, Works well
A Very good value. Works well for hand trimming PVC and Wood edge banding. Arrived promptly and was reasonably priced. I ordered a second one and extra blades. This is a professional cabinet shop that does high end cabinets

Wood scar/scratch
Works good and saves time but leaves a scar/scratch along the wood.

Decent trimmer
Fairly well made, strong blade. I like how you can spin it around and use the other side before replacing the blade. It takes some practice to use it well, so you may set up some test runs first. Try not to stop once you start pushing down the edge banding. And watch the pressure used: not enough and the cut may interrupt and cause a split or chip; too much and it causes indentation lines on softer wood and digs in too much. I found I had better results the more I used it and it saves a lot of effort (rather than just sanding it).

Works fine
Works super and saves a lot of time. Also there is less dirt compared when using a router. But be aware, this tool is for edge banding, not to cut laminate banding.
