I liked everything about it, including the little light on it. It’s very handy but my first one the walking mechanism jammed and stopped working. Hopefully that doesn’t happen with the new one because I really like this device. It gives him more room to run and I can see him in the dark without taking a big Flashlight

We bought this leash to allow our young corgi puppy some freedom on our walks, training, and potty breaks. We love that the extendable leash goes so far! It is great for training, especially for practicing recall. Because the leash goes so far, it is also great for winter and rainy day potty breaks, when you need to let your pup out but you want to stay inside the door. The leash length allows you to stick your hand out the door while giving your dog a long enough space to find a good spot to "go" in. The leash is also thick (width wise), so you don't have to worry about your dog snapping the leash if they pull really hard for any reason. I don't think it could withstand any chewing from any size dog, but if that is controlled then it is very safe for any dog who will be on the leash.

Great leash. Love the light on the handle. The lock sometimes gets stuck when you press it, especially when my dog decides to get zooming and take off. Takes a minute to get it to release.

Didn't hold up against by 70lb strong dog when he got riled over something. I probably shouldn't expect any leash to do that.. The flashlight was nice. It didn't retract well and would get twisted, and the locking mechanism was NOT very reliable. I did like the comfort of the grip.

Purchased this product in August and it is now December. It lasted 4 months. I have a labradoodle that weighs 60 lbs. The locking mechanism is broken, the leach is cut/frayed, not from the dog chewing but from where the button to lock it has broken and is cutting into the leash. Very disappointed in the quality for the price.

I have owned this product for a little over 6 months and it has broken a little bit each month until it is no longer usable. I have been very disappointed with the product. First the poop bag holder broke off, then the retractor button stopped working and is now fully broken off. The leash case cracked at the point of entry and now the leash gets stuck every time it is pulled. The light is the only functional thing on this leash at this point.

Leashes for our furry critters are one of those things you have to live with to decide what works and what doesn't. We've used this one for a few weeks, and I'm pleased with it. The integrated light is a pleasant surprise; it's handy in low light conditions, and well integrated. The retractable leash works well; the 'chew resistant' cable is about 3' of plastic coated wire cable, which doubles as well as a short connector for pet restraint (we used it in a golf cart to tether the dog to the seat while riding). Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
