Easy to use for a beginner.

I make candles and have wanted to make different molds than what's out there. Partially because I just don't want to make the same candles everyone else is making! It is not a good strategy. This is perfect as I have been taking some statues I have, tweaking them and then making different candle molds with this. I'm no expert and I'm still learning the ins and outs and what to do and what not to. But this kit makes it a lot easier. I've tried a few other materials and kits and this is one of the easiest ones for this purpose. I'm really happy I got it.

I had no problems using this resin, it's a 1-1 mixture. Comes with wood stirs, a terrible pair of gloves, and some measuring cups. I felt it was a little misleading as the photos had a mold included, although the product description image did not. They are small jugs of resin (can in photo for perspective) that will work for smaller projects.Edit: I want to add that this is a translucent mold-making kit. It is not for making a resin project. I made an angel with some extra I had mixed to show the difference. You can see in the photo; one is a clear resin and hard - the second one is translucent and very pliable.

I've been using epoxy resin for crafts for several years now, but prior to this I had always bought pre-made molds online to use for my crafting. I vaguely knew that it was possible to make your own molds at home but had no idea how to go about it. When I saw this kit, I decided to give it a go even though I didn't really expect to be successful. Imagine my delight when I realized I was wrong and this is WAY easier than I thought it would be! I'm absolutely hooked on mold making now and have been eagerly sizing up items from all over my house, trying to decide if it's a good candidate for a mold or not. My next project will be 3d printing some items to make molds out of for something really custom. If you enjoy using molds for soap making or resin crafts, you will be absolutely thrilled that you decided to give this kit a try to make your own molds.

I'm a beginner at making molds so I had some issues, but this is a good set. I was able to make a good mold but it took a few tries to get it right. I think it was just a technique problem for me. This set gives you everything you need to get started, but I would recommend planning everything out very well before you start.

I had never used this stuff before, but I had dreamed about making my own molds. Molds can be expensive - and custom molds are really pricey. With this kit I can make any mold I want, and I love it! These are so easy to use - I had great results from the first time I used it. If you are new to making molds - even if you're an old pro - try this kit. With easy-to-follow directions you can't go wrong!

I ordered this kit because I wanted to test out this particular silicone. So far I've been impressed with it and it works better than most of the name brand ones that I run into. I really like this full kit it made it very easy to make items from. Excellent value, zero smell. Excellent 20a silicone.

I am happy with this. I will say the jugs look larger in the picture than they are, so pay attention to volume and know what you are getting. Other than than, it's fine and I like the extras included. I'm happy with this.
