We have a 9 y/o, 160 lb. GSD/mastiff cross with hip dysplasia, who had a femoral head ostectomy a few years ago following a hip dislocation. Arthritis has now set in, and had gotten bad enough that he would whine or yelp upon getting up after resting. He was mostly fine while moving, but even an hour's rest left him painfully stiff. Because of his advanced age and the potential for complications, we didn't want to put him on a prescription pain management regimen until we've exhausted other options, so started looking for supplements that might help. My husband has RA, and has had luck mitigating most of his pain by following a low-carb, anti-inflammatory diet and taking a variety of joint-related supplements. Since our pups are already on a low-carb diet, we began looking for supplements similar to what my husband has had success with. This product is the only one we've found that contains everything that my husband takes (and then some). Our dog is kind of immense, so he gets the maximum amount (five) of these little nuggets once per day. He apparently loves the flavor, because he takes them readily. It took about two weeks before we noticed a difference in the way he was moving, where and how he was choosing to lay, and just his demeanor in general. He has stopped yelping upon getting up after a long rest, and hasn't needed assistance to get up on the couch or our bed. He still sometimes seems a little stiff a couple of days before a storm, exactly the same as my husband, but otherwise seems like a normal, healthy dog. Because our dog is so large, one package of this only lasts about a month. It's worth it, though. I wish I would have had him on these since his surgery all those years ago -- maybe I could have delayed the onset of his symptoms.

I have a 15 yr old 7lb Yorkie who has suffered from age related joint pain in his hips and shoulders for a few years. From the first nugget I gave him, I observed an improvement in his gait - he was not limping as badly, and seemed to be more comfortable overall. After a week, his limp was almost gone! I've tried other joint supplement products - they smelled so bad, my dog wouldn't go near them! These supplements look good, they smell good - the texture is very soft and crumbly so the nugget literally melts in his mouth. I never have to coax my dog to take one, so that's a gift with purchase right there! LOL Almost 3 weeks later, I believe this product has helped my dog significantly. When he takes it slow, his walk is limp-free. I am absolutely amazed that one product could do so much to improve my baby's quality of life and put a spring back into his step. Thank you so much GoodGrowlies! 05/23/2020 - just an update, we started our 2nd jar of the Good Growlies Hemp Chews. After a few months of using this product, I have observed a progressive improvement in my elderly yorkie's overall joint health. He is almost 100% limp-free now and is able to run freely and seems to have recovered all of his mobility. I have seen him limp occasionally, but I'm pretty sure it's just a manipulation tactic for a treat or two LOL I am VERY happy with this product, and expect to use it for the remainder of my dog's life. I believe in the healing properties of joint supplements, and am so glad that I found Good Growlies. My dog absolutely LOVES it - he lines up for his chew every morning and never lets me forget to give it to him - it's more like a treat than medicine to him! I highly recommend it - it truly is well worth the price. The customer service is FANTASTIC too - I could not be happier with the product or the seller. A++++ all around!

This is an acceptable product. I don't really have anything bad to say about it. I purchased them because I could give my dog fewer, so I thought it would be easier for me. It could just be my dog's personal preference, but she won't eat these by themselves. I have to add them to her food to disguise the taste. I still gave them 4 stars, because I AM getting the medicinal benefit for my dog. I gave them 4 stars for pain relief, 3 stars for taste, 5 for stretch. They lasted me 2 months. My dog just likes the other ones more, so it is easier for me to give her the relief, because she readily eats the other ones.

My elderly dog, a 14 year old shih tzu, started having trouble sleeping. He seemed confused at night and would wake me up every hour, almost like "sundowners" in humans. After we wrap weeks of this.....I was at my wits end. I started looking for natural stuff that would help. I bought these based on reviews and.....they work! The very first night I gave him one around 9 pm and he didn't wake me up until about 5 to go out to pee (normal for him). He is picky about treats and food but gobbles these down. We've now been doing these for a while and how sleeping is back to normal. I'm so thankful and highly recommend them!

I first tried this product as a free sample and just had to give an honest review. I have given it a great review already, because I saw a noticeable improvement in my old dog. I like how much this helped my dog get around, I ordered another batch on my dime. It was was easy to give to my dog, it must smell really good. It has helped him feel a lot better and he’s been functioning well.

Horrible Smell!!! It seems to work my dog is sleeping longer but I really have to cover it with cheese because it smells so bad and I don't want my dog to grow an aversion to it.

This sleep aid has worked wonders for my dog. He has stopped barking all night and it's the first time in a long time that he has slept through the night. No problem with the taste either. He eats it without hesitation and I do not have to camouflage the taste or smell, which is about the same level has his regular kibble .

Have a older dog so she needed some help with her mobility..these supplements work good, with in a week she is get up and moving around much better, going to purchathem again.
