Great surge protector
Easy install, more than enough cable length for a Square D outdoor sub-panel. Installs directly to 1/2” knockouts. Total time to install was maybe 6 minutes. Would be nice if they included crimp ring connectors for the hot wires, but you can easily get a pack. My last surge from Square D failed (or succeeded?) when a GFCI breaker blew out and both the breaker and surge unit had to be replaced. I have this protecting my pool equipment from surges on a 240v / 2-pole sub-panel.

Need extra stuff
If your box is a normal box on the wall, you cannot install this in it and expect your door shut so you have to buy extra wires and equipment to be able to mount on the outside Of the box because it does not come with everything you need to do that.

Worked
After the first surge due to lightning it stopped working, not sure if that is how it is supposed to work. It saved all of my appliances
