Rohn 25G Series 30' Basic Tower Kit

After reading reviews I opted for this tower. After receiving it I am 100% satisfied with all of their products I have purchased for my amateur radio station. I see that quality and are are taken into consideration when this was built. Stainless steel and galvanized dipped for long lasting durability. You will need to slightly widen a few holes to assemble because of the thick layers of galvanized dip but that in no way detracts from it's quality. I may buy additional sections for future additions to the tower. 73s K5EMT!

The gold standard of towers. That said, now Im going to pick on them. Holy Crap ! too much galvanizing coating!!I put mine together on the ground and used a hinged base. I had a hell of a time getting the bolts through lining them up . I could just imagine trying to put this together using a jinn pole high above the ground. When Rohn ships these they have an annoying habit of putting the bolts in a narrow plastic tube and inserting them way up into the tower leg. I opened the pallet it came on and thought "Cheap b****ds cant even supply bolts" and went to the hardware store. I found their bolts later when I went to put it together. But as I said otherwise a great tower.

We needed this tower for our home WIFI. It is well built, it held up well through it's first wind storm in Wyoming.Follow directions when installing it.
