T&G 12211 Classic Capstan Natural Hevea Pepper Mill, 40.5 cm

My husband 'the chef' has been looking for a traditional-looking, sturdy, metal-action pepper mill for ages and this one by T&G certainly fits the bill and he is delighted with it. You certainly get what you pay for here but well worth it. Would recommend this to anyone who cooks regularly with freshly ground pepper or simply likes to show off their impressive new gadgets to dinner guests!

This is a fabulous solid grinder! So pleased with it. So many grinders of this size aren't stable or don't grins well. This is the best I've ever bought! Can highly recommend!

I bought this as a present for someone who has had little success with other pepper mills . I searched for this particular pepper mill as we have had the same one for over 15 years and it has never failed !! I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Lovely mill, nicely made, but didn't function! I sent it back and got a full refund, no issues.

Nicely finished, but then performance is poor. Soft cheap grinding jaws that offer less than capable grinding, and being produced from some form of resign will have a limited service life.Shame it was not produced in Japan. Everything they make appears to work as it should.

Excellent weight, good size, very good grinding gear (the important bit!). A nice bit of kit and a god adornment to any kitchen.

Very good quality

Initially very pleased but only Lasted 3 months before head rotated on shaft as it was rounded and mechanism no longer turned and ground pepper. Now very disappointed.
