I learned that this doesn't lather well whilst it still has the plastic on! But then I was surprised to find it wrapped in plastic inside a paper cover inside a cardboard box and was a bit disappointed as it seems an unnecessary bit of packaging. It does lather well with a shaving brush and has a decent smell that doesn't linger on the skin. I found it dried my skin quite a bit and needs some moisturiser or something after use to bring the skin back, but with a good razor I am pleased with the result and will be using this until it's finished, which will be a lot longer than a tube of foam.

This is a lovely smelling soap. The sandalwood scent is not too overpowering. The soap fits a small bowl and lathers very easily, providing a dense and creamy foam. It doesn’t dry out too quickly when on the face. Shaving is very smooth. If it does dry your brush will still have plenty of lather in it to reapply. Once finished my face was left feeling smooth and moisturised. I really like this soap and will buy it again.

Refill shaving soap - so make sure you have a dish to put it in.Nice texture and lathers up well.Nice sandalwood fragrance too.I like that it contains no animal fats.Think this is a decent quality soap and will last a while.

Didn't realise this was just a refill, I thought it was a full pot of soap. It's kinda tricky to use just as a lump, but I've put it into an old shaving cream tub I had on hand, and it seems to be working well

I’ve been using this soap with my safety razor for a few days and it is great.It lathers up nicely and leaves behind a subtle, woody smell. I’ve not used products with sandalwood before, so this smell is new to me. My partner likes it, so that’s what matters.The soap is very gentle on my skin. I have quite sensitive skin and am prone to soaps leaving me feeling dry. This one has been fine with me.

I wasn’t sure how good this would be as I’m used to shaving foam however once wet it lathers very well and you don’t need too much. It smooths on face nicely and razor glided over it comfortably resulting in a decent close shave. It wasn’t drying so my skin felt fairly soft afterwards and there was no redness or irritation.

This type of product seem to be preferred over others in our household.Only a very slight aroma to it nothing too strong and seems like a good size.If your wanting a non drying shaving product for not a stupid expensive cost this could be well worth a try.
