Very sturdy and sharp!
Used this to cut blind poles to measure as well as a curtain line. It definitely takes a bit of strength for a clear quick cut ( I am not strong at all so really had to push). It is very easy to use indeed and the blade is really sharp, it seems it is going to last long, but it also comes with a replacement blade. Very sturdy.I am overall very satisfied with this product.

Excellent.
Excellent product, just what I wanted to cut up some old plastic mop handles, so easy to use.

Easy to use for model making
Pros: Quite easy to use and the possibility to cut small pieces at different angles is an advantage.Cons: I am using this Shear Cutter in house model making and it does not necessarily cut as sharp as required at times.Overall, it does a pretty good job.

Bit flimsy
Rubber hand grips moved around a lot and started to come off. The slide catch to hold the cutters together never worked, have to put them open in the tool box and watch out you don’t cut yourself on the open blade. They have their own blades with holes in for location, not sure if normal flat blades would work with it.The angle guide was a bit of a pain for me as a window fitter while cutting lots of different angles quickly.I’m afraid it’s in the bottom of my tool bag now not used.

Very sturdy, but...
... it's very innacurate and quite difficult to use, particularly to cut soft wood. I need to cut smaller bits at 45 degrees, and it comes more like 40 degrees at the start and 60 at the end, it's a really such sloppy cutter!Maybe it's the blades to be blamed, they probably come a bit blunt from factory. Or I've received a factory reject. Or I've got somebody else's reject, which they returned to Amazon.Either way, I'm not very happy with it. Should've returned it, but I forgot.
