Impressively responsive sensor, consistent low PM2.5 readings below 10, and great air quality,
High Level Summary: Infrared-Laser Sensor, ACM (Air Cycles Per Minute), and Air Quality Results are on-point. Ad listing specs are, at best, a hot mess.... The Good: Within 5 minutes of arriving at my door, I unboxed, installed filter, plugged in, and powered up with little effort. I appreciate it's sleek design (All my appliances are white). The two air intakes support it's high ACM capacity - I placed my hand just above the output grill and felt the intense force of air rushing between my fingers. The smell of the purified air is refreshing. Watching the PM2.5 sensor reading is intriguing - seeing a measure of the air quality in my space and witnessing the downward trend of air contaminants removed over the next hour. I ran it on Turbo mode (cause, who wouldn't when getting a new toy?), in my 8,000 cubic foot living room - within the hour, the air felt and smelled cleaner. Switched to the auto mode - this little guy is intelligent! I can trust him adjusting the air flow based on the sensor's readings. The Bad: All the product ad listings for the Dayette brand Air Purifiers are at best, a hot mess... I reviewed over 50+ AP ads - learning about the specs and measured performance surrounding Air Purifiers. CADM has two values - CFM (Cubic Feet Per Minute Airflow Rate) and M3/H (Cubic Meters of Air Filtering Rate). ACH (Air Cycle per Hour Rate). Max Square Footage Space (total SF that can cycle all the air in 1 hour). Understanding all these stats gave me data to compare like for like stats between different models and respective pricing. What does all this long-winded feedback have to do with this model? The Dayette Ads: All the ads are inconsistent, conflicting, and the company does not acknowledge the examples provided. This unit's model number is 'AP303' (and the unit I got does say model AP303 on the label)… But AP303 is the name of an older model design with a much lower ACH rate with a round filter. Try searching for a replacement filter for this listing’s unit - you'll find the only ones listed with 'AP303' are round, when this model has a flat-rectangular design. I can’t get a replacement filter yet… This unit advertises it can cycle an entire 3000 sf space in about an hour. That calculates to about a CADR CFM value of 400, which is high. Check out the other Dayette ads – there’s 2 other models that advertise 3000 sq ft capacity… All three ‘3000sf models’ are priced differently. This one is $149.00. *Another 3000sf is priced at $154.00 – that one states the model’s name is a AP401 and reads ‘continuous powerful purification for large rooms Up to 3000 Sq Ft’. Why doesn’t it specify the per hour rate like this ad? To add confusion, a photo on the right states it has a max sf space capacity of 1720sf per hour. One unit that has a capacity for large rooms up to 3000sf, and a max capacity of 1720sf? Are they trying to sell a much lower end unit at a higher price? Does it have 3000, or 1720sf capacity? The detail is so small… but I caught it. My first purchase was this model, which seemed like a great deal, until I caught the 1720 reference… Even if the unit I got was 3000, how could that be validated? Dayette team didn’t address the concern, so I returned it. *The 3rd ad for a 3000sf model runs at $169.00. claims it purifies up to 3,000 sq ft per hour,500 sq ft per 10 min. A photo on that ad calls it the AP401 model (the same name as the 2nd listed one listing a 1720sf / hour cycle rate). Scroll further down to see the product details to read the model is an AP303 (the same as this listing’s model name). Is this model a AP401 and AP303 that offers 3000sf max capacity with a 1720 / hour cycle rate and a 3000sf / hour cycle rate? My point – I invest in a brand – and find it hard to trust any unit’s actual specs (which in my opinion is the entire point of choosing a product – based on its advertised specs). All 5-6 listed ads contain conflicting info. Why did I keep this unit? It listed the most consistent data between all three, and I’m impressed with its performance. And I am still waiting to see how Dayette’s team addresses my concerns. I also own the AP403 model (4000sf capacity) due to its ad with more consistency, and that unit is a powerhouse. But… I still don’t know if I got what’s advertised at the price it was listed for. I hope this review was helpful – yup, super long-winded. But when you come across something that doesn’t seem right, then discover more and more somethings that support something isn’t right, I feel the ‘right thing to do’ is share that experience. Is their misinformation in ads intentional to confuse and charge more for lower quality product? With details this tiny, most wouldn’t catch them (unless you’re a dude like me that over-analyses antying that doesn’t make sense.) You are the consumer - compare the ads, challenge what’s claimed, and good luck on your hunt. Don’t be a victim of false ads – do you research. I believe Dayette has a great ‘product’, but the ‘brand name’ simply can’t be trusted until they get their inconsistent ad content mess cleaned up. Thanks for listening. 😊

Quiet, efficient, good for bedrooms...
First of all this is a small device and is most certainly not for 3000 sq/ft of space, I would use one in bedrooms at most, max 400 sq/ft being completely honest. If you wanted to clean 3k sq/ft of air you would need 4-5 of these.. Very high quality, small, quiet yet powerful enough for basic needs, I wouldn't use this in more than a 100-200 sq/ft bedroom I'd seek a larger unit unless you have very minimal dust/smoke/contamination in the air. The ease of cleaning is amazing and also filter changes, you can very easily pop the outside covers off and replace the filters, it is basically silent even on the highest setting and it certainly cleans the air as it should. The only downside for me was the carbon in it isn't very strong, I use this in a room of house plants and you can still smell anything in there, it doesn't change the smell at all but it does clean the air of any particulates which is the actual job of this unit. Product suggestion: When device loses power from outage or w/e have the unit come back on automatically. If the power goes out or someone bumps the plug the device shuts off and you have to physically power it back on before it works again. Same thing with if the power goes out. Annoying but not the end of the world and again, this isn't something that makes it worth less than it's advertised in my book.

Powerful, Quiet, and Easy to Use – A Must-Have HEPA Air Purifier!
I recently purchased this HEPA air filter on Amazon, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. The dual HEPA filters make a noticeable difference in air quality, capturing dust, allergens, and even pet dander with ease. Within just a few hours of use, I could feel a significant improvement in the freshness of the air in my home. It runs quietly, which is a big plus, allowing me to keep it on throughout the night without any disturbance. The sleek design also blends well with any room décor, making it a stylish yet functional addition to my space. One of the standout features of this air purifier is its adjustable settings. The built-in timer allows me to set it for a few hours or let it run continuously, which is perfect for managing air circulation throughout the day. The multiple fan speed options provide flexibility, whether I need a gentle purification mode or a more powerful setting after cooking or during allergy season. I appreciate that even at its highest speed, it remains relatively quiet and efficient, ensuring that clean air is distributed without unnecessary noise. Additionally, the lightweight design makes it incredibly easy to move from room to room. Whether I need it in the bedroom, living room, or even my home office, I can carry it effortlessly without hassle. The setup was simple right out of the box, with clear instructions and intuitive controls. For anyone looking for a high-quality air purifier that delivers excellent performance and convenience, I highly recommend this one. It’s a great investment for a healthier indoor environment!
