Isabey Siberian Blue Squirrel Quill Watercolor Brush, White

This brush is everything great! Holds lots of water and paint. Comes to a fine point. Stays open when you want large coverage. Worth it!

Quite simply the best squirrel mop around. Worth every penny. Flexibility is perfect, wash use and fine line use for watercolor. My last Isabey I purchased in 1996: took 23 years before I needed to buy another one.

I just received this product last night - it was at the bottom of an otherwise empty plastic Amazon bag with NO protective packaging whatsoever. I have ordered other brushes which were packaged in separate, careful boxes within the Amazon bag, and they were fine. I'm sure this is an issue with Isabey rather than Amazon, really???

This is not for 5 brushes. Only 1. I read the description over and over and didn't see anything that specified. So I ordered it anyway, hoping it was all 5 brushes as shown in the picture. It's not. Just a heads up for others. I have not tried the brush yet and will be sending it back.

Hard to go wrong with any Isabey product. This mop gives me the entire background with no breaks, runs or blooms.I am loose watercolorist looking to add in every size they offer. Holds a goodly quality of water and if my brush is soaked long enough to hold the paint, I can paint an hour on one load. I have a few other squirell hair brushes but they do not work the same way as Isabey Blue Squirell.

Disappointed!!The wires that secure the brush are open twisted ends that move around and poke you fingers as you try to hold the brush.Also, a 41-dollar brush came without anything to protect the delicate hairs. I was shocked. This may need to go back unfortunately.

This is a beautiful brush capable of holding a large amount of water. It's great for washes but allows for more fine mark making. I find that I have greater control with this brush. A wonderful brush for plein air, when you only want to take the workhorse brushes with you.Jackson's did a wonderful job getting my order to me in a secure and timely way.
