Great battery replacement. Easy to fit to Latitude 7480. Recognised by bios and dell power diags thing. No idea on longevity yet, but so far so good

I was a little apprehensive about purchasing a non oem battery for my dell laptop, but with most items from Amazon i had nothing to worry about in real terms. I took the step first of all before ordering to open up the laptop following a short tutorial on youtube, and that then led me to understand i already had the larger capacity battery and that was the one i wanted to replace. It arrived and was fitted with the kit provided, straight in, not issues, technical understanding needed to install, someone who can wire up a 13 amp domestic plug. 5 stars for the product and working well.

Working great

Not compatable with the Dell XPS 9560 pre 2020. The Dell requires the pinout green to be next to the black wires. i.e. Yellow then Green. This battery pinout is is green yellow. There are reports only that Dell changed the battery spec with a slightly changed product code post 2020. Sent mine back uninstalled still in the plastic box to avoid damage / issues.

Made sure I used the product for a while before giving a review. Its been able to sustain its charge and able to serve up to 6hrs on minimum processing power

The free screw drivers are handy if you did not already possess tools in the necessary format. They are exceptionally cheap, but up to the job. I already had the necessary kit so they were neither here nor there for me. Battery life is not graded - come back and ask me in 3 years time.

Pleased with purchase getting much longer use than a standard battery and longer than the original Dell battery. This my third battery since owning laptop from new. Main used internet research. Word processing and spread sheet accounting. Some YouTube videos. Followed battery initial charging protocols, set charge range to 20%-79% to lengthen battery life. Screen shot shows estimated time left Wi-Fi on, Bluetooth off screen brightest fairly low off laptop idling, in a room with sun flooding in. I have never seen time this high on the two previous batteries even charging to 100%Next test will be how long it lasts. Tools supplied worked fine, but I have experience taking this laptop apart to fit upgrades. Battery connection wires are slightly longer than original, but with gentle manoeuvring the back fitted perfectly. If you are removing the star drive screws for the first time I would advise hexagonal drive a T5 bit, if scree are tight. On reassembly screws only need to be finger tip tight.
