Just used the black/brown pen on our black/brown Hemnes furniture and it looks great!!

Would this work on my ikea particle wood coffee table? Or only real wood?

I would not try it on real wood. I did not like this at all. It is more like a magic marker. That's exactly how it looks when you apply it!!
