Great Pilates Reformer for At Home
Overall, this is a fantastic Pilates reformer for at-home workouts. My only wish is that it were a bit longer. I’m 5'9", and it seems to be better suited for people who are 5'6" or shorter. While I can still do most exercises, the machine’s length limits the range of positions I can perform. On the positive side, I love the springs and weighted cords—they’re high quality and easy to adjust mid-workout. The adjustment is smooth, which makes transitioning between exercises quick and simple. One thing I had to address was the length of the pulley cords. They arrived set much too long, but it was easy to fix. I just unscrewed the bolt at the bottom and pulled more rope through to tighten the straps. Additionally, my footbar gets stuck on the left side and doesn’t lock into place like it does on the right. I think this might just be an issue with my machine, but it's something to keep in mind when setting it up.

Can confirm: gets you sweaty
For some unknown reason I have access to grownup money, so when I saw this for sale on Prime day I decided that this would be a great addition to the home gym I only sometimes use. It was delivered within a week of ordering it, which was a really nice surprise. My husband tells me it was easy to set up, I wouldn’t know because I wasn’t there, but take that with a grain of salt because he’s a building genius. If you’re a bit of a dumb dumb like me then I can confirm it’s easy to find someone on Task Rabbit to look at you like you’re an idiot for not being able how to figure out how to put this together. In terms of use, I’m a former yoga instructor but my body is a trashy bag of loose bones thanks to hypermobile Ehlers Danlos syndrome. They say that Pilates is the best exercise for my gimpy ass, and I am be easily influenced so here we are. I’ve never taken a single Pilates class. This reformer is very beginners friendly, and I dare say after watching a few TikTok’s I am basically a Pilates prodigy. There are also a ton of free classes on YouTube. It’s easy to tinker around with the springs for varying tensions, and I haven’t snapped my finger once in the coils (which honestly is saying something).Think of the reformer as a horizontal cable machine, you can very easily get a full body workout in not that long of time. This machine in particular is sleek, does not take up a ton of room, is light weight as well as sturdy. I got it in all black.

Ideal reformer for at home!
Easy to store or put away, takes only 5mins to set up or store away. Installation was maybe 20-30mins and i did it by myself. Super easy process! However i do strength training so i was strong enough to lift it and get it set up. I recommend making it a 2 person job since it's very heavy. I love the sturdiness and support of the foam for my back. My only wish is that it offered more weights/springs since i might be consider intermediate or advanced. Perfect for those just starting out and want to save from a membership. I love working out from home so I can set the mood however I please. Also provides me the freedom and flexibility to do it whenever as someone who works mostly remote. Remember there's a height limit! If you're 5'7 or taller I would suggest a different brand. This is meant for a more compact and travel friendly option. Which i love and suits me perfectly since I didn't want something that was mega large or taking up too much space. If your 5'6 or shorter this is the one 🥰

For the price, worth it, for beginners
I’ll begin with the assemblement: putting the machine together wasn’t too hard. Except for step #19!!! I wish there was a how-to video because I STRUGGLED. But as a noob, I did well, and I finished assembling everything.Moving on to usage: as a beginner with low strength, it’s a good machine. However, once my strength reaches a certain point, I will need more weight resistance, and I can’t really add more weight resistance to this machine. Not to my knowledge, anyway.Positives: it was worth the purchase, I think.Drawbacks: my machine came with uneven pull straps, as shown in photos, so using this machine can be awkward at times, since they’re uneven. And there isn’t a way to adjust those lengths, not to my knowledge anyway.

Outstanding!
I don’t typically write reviews but I am going to for this because I like it so much. I did a LOT of Pilates on a reformer in a studio. My schedule would change and I’d no always get to use every “credit” I had. I LOVE the at home option. There are zero mechanical issues - the carriage was super smooth. I did not know if I’d like the rubber tubes as much as the springs (on a studio reformer) but they’re every bit as good. I looked at other models and if you know your way around a reformer, this is truly fantastic. I’m 5’8” and although this says is for 5’5” or shorter, I would say a little taller person could use this reformer with no issues. It is sturdy, set up took 20 minutes, the size is great. The best part is: Sometimes I slide on the carriage and do leg work while I’m reading work emails. It’s silent, too! You do not need to spent $1,000+. This gets the job done and I’m now saving $300+ per month. It will also fold up nicely and easily. I’m not sure why people are saying you need two people to fold this or set it up. It was so easy.
