Is anyone having issues with using fine ground coffee? It works fine with nr 3 and nr 4 grind but not the espresso (nr 5 and above)?

Try mixing nr 4 with a finer grind till it works. Otherwise get a stepless grinder.

What is the differenxe between this nanopresso and the minipresso NS?

The nanopresso (with NS adaptor) is a little bulkier but in my opinion better quality and easier to clean and it has the option of using nespresso capsules or ground coffee. The minipresso you have to buy either the capsual version or the ground coffee version.

Does it produce crema?

Yes, coffee produced with the Nanopresso has a very nice and long lasing crema - pretty uncommon for the home or non-professional coffee makers. (Not equal result with capsules though.)

Does it keep water hot

I would say no...Then again,it is not designed to be used like that. You are supposed to make your drink as soon as you need to.The tank is definitely not insulated.
