Great
These are GREAT! I've taken these walkies to use for hikes a couple of times and you can speak through them clearly and get a good range I haven't charged them ONCE since getting them, and they still have full battery! Good bang for your buck and useful.

They work great.
I needed a cheap 2 way radio to talk to the flaggers, so its easier for me to get my triaxle dump into the construction zone the way they want me.These work great, havent tested the range or anything yet. But yeah if you need a pair of walkie talkies for communication over a fairly short distance then these are for you. I know the range isn't too far out, so if you need something that covers miles, you may need a better set. They work good and are pretty loud. They work for what I need em for!

Maxtalker Walkie Talkie Review
Max Talker Walkie Talkie Review: Solid Communication with Added Weather Security (Almost Perfect)The Max Talker walkie talkie aims to be a reliable communication tool for various situations, boasting 22 FRS channels and a crucial NOAA weather radio feature. After putting a pair through their paces, I found them to be a solid performer with a lot to offer, though a couple of minor drawbacks prevent a perfect score. The Pros:* Clear and Reliable Communication: The primary function of a walkie talkie is communication, and the Max Talker generally delivers. I found that it comfortably met my needs, providing clear communication within a 1-mile radius in my neighborhood.* Impressive Range in Open Fields: In open field tests, the Max Talker performed admirably, easily reaching distances up to 5 miles with clear audio.* Essential NOAA Weather Radio: This is a standout feature and a significant selling point. Being able to tune into local NOAA weather broadcasts is invaluable for hikers, campers, and anyone concerned about staying informed during potential emergencies. The alerts are also a welcome addition.* Easy to Use Interface: The buttons are clearly labeled, and the menu system is relatively intuitive to navigate, even for first-time walkie talkie users. Switching between channels and accessing the weather radio is straightforward.* Decent Battery Life: The battery life on the Max Talker was respectable, lasting for a good portion of a day with intermittent use. This is crucial for longer outings where recharging might not be readily available.* 22 FRS Channels: Having the full range of 22 FRS channels provides ample options for finding a clear channel and avoiding interference from other users.* Durable Build Quality: The walkie talkies feel reasonably robust and capable of withstanding some bumps and scrapes that are common during outdoor activities. The Cons:* Speaker Volume Could Be Louder: In noisy environments, such as near a busy road or a windy campsite, the speaker volume could be a bit louder to ensure clear audibility without having to hold the device directly to your ear.* Basic Design and Features: While functional, the overall design and additional features are fairly basic. Don't expect advanced functionalities like GPS tracking or more sophisticated privacy codes beyond the standard CTCSS/DCS.* Belt Clip Could Be More Secure: The included belt clip does its job, but it feels a little flimsy and could potentially detach if snagged on something.Overall:The Max Talker walkie talkie with NOAA weather radio and 22 FRS channels is a dependable communication device that offers a valuable layer of safety with its integrated weather alerts. It's easy to use, boasts decent battery life, and provides clear communication within the expected range for both neighborhood use and open field scenarios. While the speaker volume could be improved and the design is basic, the inclusion of the NOAA weather radio and the reliable FRS communication make it a solid choice for recreational use, neighborhood communication, and basic emergency preparedness. It's a strong contender in its category and earns a respectable 4 out of 5 stars.

Amazing quality walkies for the price!
Got these to communicate with my neighbor about 500 yards or so away as we are in an area with no cell service and was amazed by the quality for the price. our voices are always clear, and not having to buy batteries is a big plus! it charges up pretty quick with the same usb-c that my phone takes. battery life can go for days turned on if not talking over them very much and it will beep to let you know that it needs to be plugged in. just get these if you are looking, i have 0 complaints.. been going strong with frequent use for months now.

[ All purpose Walkie talkies + NOAA Alerts]
Max talker Walkie talkies, The item in question: is it a value for money and investing in? Yes hundred percent worth the money. Functionality comes with instructions that's user friendly that kids can also use and get the hang of? Build quality is superior and charging capability can be universal when travelling in and out to either the town or country side. When a cell phone service can't reach without a signal this can help. Brightness is in an okay setting for when needing a second light on a walk through terrain. So would I recommend it? Definitely five stars recommendation. Worth investing in~

Excellent Product +Exceptional Service Make These A Must Have
I purchased this set in March to replace a previous set because I lost one of the handsets. These Walkie Talkies are excellent, easy to use, easy to charge, communication is clear, and rugged (I've dropped one a few times). My husband pulls the Float for the County Fair where we live. I keep an eye out for the kids getting candy from the street and keep an eye on our riders and let them know about dips in the road, or having to stop quickly, to watch for tree limbs, and such. So having clear communication is key to keeping our young riders safe. This set of Walkie Talkies fit our needs.I recently had an issue with one of the handsets turning itself off after being powered on. I contacted the company and received a response right away (on a Sunday!). I explained the issue I was having. The response was very fast, requesting the original order number and model number (stuff that I didn't think to include). I sent a screenshot of the order information, then took the back cover off and battery out and took a Pic of the sticker with the handset information and sent that to customer support. Taking the battery out, then putting it back in and putting it back together fixed the issue I was having. The company's support guy offered to send a replacement. But both handsets are working correctly now, so I declined the replacement. Their customer service is excellent.THANK YOU MAXTALKER for an excellent product and your exceptional service and support! I may have to purchase another set just for use on our farm.

All but weather band work fine.
Works as described, except they do not pick up the Weather band. We have two wx stations here, and I can see the tower for one of them out my front door (about 10 miles from here). Otherwise I'm happy with them, especially because they have rechargeable batteries take a USB C connector.
