I bought this after coming from a GoXLR Mini and I had mixed feelings at first. But all the negatives were resolved after continuing to use the Beacn for a few weeks.My use case is for live streaming games to YouTube and Twitch. I have a semi multi PC setup and I'm very particular about controlling which sounds go to which streams and recording tracks. That's where this device excels! I have far more digital "channels" than I need. I can control which sounds sources go to which outputs (the Mix Create helps control on the fly). I set up multi track recording in OBS so I can isolate my mic, game, music, sound effects, and chat for editing later.Here's some organized thoughts:Quality- Very lightweight (almost cheap feeling).- Button feels hollow.- Dial has little resistance.- Pickup is very clean and powerful.Ease of Use- Mic setup is really easy for beginners to get good sound. At the same time, it's a bit tricky for experienced audio engineers to dial in perfectly. I'm several months in and still tweaking mic settings.- Clip guard works flawlessly.Features- If you need the unique combination of features designed for multi PC use and ease of mic setup options, then this is for you.- If you already have your mic set up the way you want and don't have a multi PC setup, this will be overpriced.Customer Service- Amazing! I've had a couple exchanges with Beacn to report bugs and they've been very receptive, courteous, and quick to respond.Software- Speaking of bugs, I've encountered a few. The company is new and the hardware is the first iteration. Expect edge case bugs. That being said, the software team has been really on top of it and I have no complaints. Just know what you're getting into.

My son called me to tell me that my GoXLR would no longer be supported and would eventually stop working. Then he mentioned the Beacn Studio might be an excellent alternative. The Beacn is an amazing little rig that is small but powerful. With the help of a YouTube video, I had this up and running a few minutes out of the box. And the sound from my SM7B mic is amazing. I appreciate the small footprint of the device taking up a small space on the desk and the ease of setup. The software is easy to use. There is one minor improvement with the mute mic mute button that could be made; it emits a loud click when it pressed, and not practical as a cough button. Otherwise, I couldn't ask for a better interface!

I've been using this product for about 2 months, and wanted to test it out before leaving a review.This thing is a game changer. I wanted to get back into streaming and recording, but doing both and playing on 1 PC in 4k120 was too much for it to handle, so I decided to use my laptop to handle that part. I wanted a better way to route the audio instead of using Voicemeeter and this did not disappoint. The design is very minimalistic, functionality is seamless, no loss in quality, no audio delay, and the software is so simple to use. I even purchased an XLR microphone to use with it and it was so easy to EQ in the software. Definitely recommend to anyone running a dual PC setup.

This product is mainly designed for streamers in mind because of the whole way it is designed from the one input mic to the control software it requires to use it. The software is crucial for this product to function well and actually works really well out of the box for transmitting signals from different sources and kèeping everything organized. The software works well you just download it and everything connects easily and well including from my phone. The high gain mic preamp works well for recording voice as was promised. This audio interface seems great on the surface for different kinds of applications, but musicians beware... All the specs it has may be true but if you wanna make music with this I would recommend something else.The problem for me as a musician is unfortunately I can't mix properly with this audio driver as is. It's too quiet and produces an inaccurate soundstage. Every time I mixed with it it was too loud and I couldn't hear the details like I could with my other audio interface. So if you are just streaming I would recommend it, but if you are a musician I would try something else in a similar price range.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Terrible product, never worked once, support is nearly non existent. Complete waste of money, also messed up the audio on pc, to the point where i had to reset my pc. I had it set up properly and everything, did not work. Do yourself a favor and use an elgato product and use wave link, way easier and better. I also had 2 completely up to date computers i was attemping to use it with, as stated, did not work.

The media could not be loaded. I can recommend you this audio interface if you are facing this 2 challenges:1- dual pc setup: is the easiest way and cleanest solution, just 2 usb one to gaming pc or ps5 and one to streaming pc.2- if you have a lot of background noise. It remove all background noise and you can hear it with monitoring you don’t have to do anything in post production.In my case it resolved both my issues, I have a dual pc setup and my office is not treated add to this a loud window ac. is amazing how this audio interface resolved that for me. Now is not cheap but worth it. The software needs some updates but it’s not in a point that is un usable. Really love it
