Even though these arrived with an expiration date in July 2023 they are clearly stale. I can feel the licorice inside the bag are rock hard!I'm sorry I could not return them. This was a real waste of my money!

Could be fresher! But not too bad. Tasty.

My shipment contained two bags of all sorts. One of the bags was open, allowing candy to spill in the shipping bag. The other bag was sealed but contained the pictured weird piece.

I checked the exp. Date which it is close but not expired. They are very hard, dry, and broken up.

It’s not awful, but it’s not Bassett’s. Took a chance on this brand and it’s more or less what I’d expect the Dollar Tree version of the real deal to taste like. It’s edible but nothing like the good stuff is all I can say.
