Read the instructions before use!!!
Works great, when you read the instructions. The blue plastic pieces are not included, the instructions link you to the GitHub to download and 3d print them yourself. Also links to a spreadsheet with the information you need to measure and adjust your printer appropriately ( would love more printers settings included).

Bad Quality
Will not zero out no mater what I do. Change the battery, turned it off and on, but it bounces from .01 to .005, and if you just touch it, it moves to -.01 to .05. So how can you trust the readings? Would not recommend.

Belt tension
Great tool, adjusted all my belts to be the same tension

I wouldn't buy again.
There are those that argue about how useful these things are but after buying 2 different brands they just don't read consistant enough. They are more for knowing you are in the ballpark of even tension for the belts. Even then they have a high margin of error.

Actually works great
Used this to measure the tension in my 3D printers belts. When I first ordered it I really thought twice about buying it but I'm glad I did. It makes measuring the tension easy then using the sound method and other 3D printed devices that are just a guessing game.

Harmonics can be subjective
When dialing in belt tension on things like a CoreXY 3D Printer you can use the harmonic method and have success. But harmonics can be rather subjective. If you are like me then tools that give you a more stable # to work with then this is your tool. More or less its a caliper that measures belt tension with minimal external noise in the measurement (as harmonics can have). Nice tool, do recommend.

Do not use if you want accracy.
I normally do not shop by others reviews, but in this case they are correct. For measuring 3D printer belt tension, this product failed . The recommended tension for Z belts on a Voron 350 are way off . A better tool is the GT2 belt tension meter by pf Makes. I had one & it worked perfectly, ordering another one. You can build one from their Github or buy one fully assembled.

Missing blue parts show in product images
Seems to work well (basically a spring loaded caliper) but is missing blue parts show in product pictures. If I can download all and print those parts no problem, if not then the item is not as described.

Bought this because I was tired of going by measuring sound frequency on a phone app. You never get consistantly repeatable results and can't fully trust them. This fixed that for me.

The beam inside of the caliper body has flashing hanging off of it in two places (a production step was skipped) and causes it to have an inconsistent varying spring rate as it travels in and out of the caliper body. This causes the measurements it takes to be consistently inaccurate. It can be used to compare to its own measurements, but not to any other physical tool's measurements or actual tension values. Functionally it is not any better than measuring the frequency the belts resonate at. Rather disappointing considering its an extremely simple and proven mechanism that should work fine, but shortcuts were taken in its construction and likely the entire batch of them that was made. 2412210938MR

The spring in my unit is too weak and does not deflect the belts enough to provide a usable measurement. On my Voron's Z belts, I am getting readings that are way too low. On the GT3 belts i use for my gantry, there's such little deflection that the spreadsheet doesn't offer usable values. My 3d printed tension meter is quite a lot cheaper and is able to provide a repeatable and consistent measurement.
