Starts and runs well after an initial adjustment to the carb. Good for limbing, trail clearing small logs etc. One item was missing in the box upon delivery but customer service did send me an additional chain as compensation. It cuts well for a small saw , obviously better in soft wood and does come with two full chisel chains Pros- Lightweight, easy starting, chains seem to be of good quality, overall good value for the price. Cons- only complaint is slight leaks from oil and gas cap gaskets for which I’m am to receive replacements. Need to either change the gaskets or include additional ones with the saw. The gaskets are ~ M20 x 30mm x 2.3 mm. I would recommend the saw if you’re looking for a compact lightweight small saw. Update….received new gas cap and oil caps with gaskets from Customer service so have updated to 5 star. Leaks have stopped. It cut pretty well in this 21” diameter hardwood log, let the saw do the work.

For the price point I will say this thing absolutely rips! I have used it on 5 cedars and 2 sweet gums to date and its nice to climb with vs my larger saws. Its not a bad little saw, and I have not had any issues with hot start like others have had, which that problem can be fixed by a carb adjustment because mine came from the factory running super rich. I thought that I had a problem with the oil adjustment screw, but it turns out that the fuel tank is leaking into the bar oil tank. The saw still runs great, it just goes through fuel and bar oil pretty quick because the fuel thins the oil out a lot. Unfortunately I just figured it out a week outside of my return window because I would actually exchange it for anther one, because for the fraction of the price of a name brand saw this little thing is worth its weight.

We had to buy this to try it out just to see if the reviews really were as good as they are. I don’t recommend this for a logger/arborist for their day to day operations. This is for your weekend warrior on the trails, the occasional day to buck wood and climb a tree. Or use for ATV trips! Understand - I put this through its paces the last few days. I’m not overly gentle on my stuff. This little saw impressed me. The pictures speak for themselves this little saw can rip and tear like the best of them Understand however, the plastic is fairly cheap. It will crack, and the plastic around the exhaust will melt off eventually. It’s purely aesthetic anyways. This cut through a bush cord of Elm and Ash then bucked up for firewood. The saw is extremely simple to use, and the adjustments work great. Sips fuel. Yes, it is made of a lesser quality plastic from big names like Sthil and Husqvarna - but if you’re looking for a cheap top handle saw that cuts with a good 25 cc engine this is definitely something you should have. I should also add the saw is going to become my primary saw in my ATV, and as well whenever I go, Overlanding this saw will be in the back of my truck. Not a bad purchase for $200. For all you arborists out there - I’m one of you - just had some fun with this and it’s a great little saw! Buy a big name top handle ;-)

This review is for the 12” arborist style, top-handle Proyama, 26cc. Amazon sometimes lumps these reviews across many products even changing ones. No idea how it will last so early reviews mean nothing, this review means nothing. I paid $109. Price is always relative to results. I didn’t break it in like I would a $$ saw. I had no idea what to expect. I put 24:1 in it and did some idle and ¾ -rev oscillations and temp cycles across three run-rest iterations. After 30min of light loaded (actual cutting) usage I was surprised on how it runs. It sounds, feels, and reacts as a decently tuned 2-smoke engine. From idle to full rev. It runs better (so far, comparatively) then the 4 Poulans and even a 271 Farm Boss. The idle tone made me smile. If you appreciate chainsaws, it makes good notes. Note: Note it took more then usual to get the oiler to start to produce for the bar, I was a bit worried about that at first and looked for a manual oiler adjustment. It does not have one. Now it likes to milk bar oil at rest, not unusual or an issue. TUNING: I only had to drop the idle down after an hour. The low and high circuit did not need adjustment. Weird. The chain is not garbage, it chips like a “real” arborist saw and not some low-chain-speed garden saw. The chain tracks fine in the bar. Chain stretch was normal for that bar length. Before I installed the chain, I imperially checked the side to side slop; it was typical. - The fuel tank and bar oil are sized (in volume) usefully. CONS: Things that remind you this is a $100 saw: The choke mechanism is a bit sloppy and sketchy feeling. - The fuel and bar oil caps are a weak link. There is no capture groove for the o-ring seal. If these don’t break from deterioration (due to material quality) first; over torquing the caps will destroy them as they stretch getting squared to a larger OD outside the cap. Take it easy on the cap tightness. - The clutch feels weak, or I find it slightly inadequate vs the power of the saw and aggressive bite of the chain. This is on 8” of tree, dense and dead. Chainsaw peeps would flag this as more on the engine. - The supplied soft case is chinky but whatever. A new Stihl will get you nothing and you can pay >$50 for the crappy new Stihl hard case with no bar guard and no bar guard capture. I would care less about the accessories in this case, more a complaint on the professional saw industry. REVIEW: Overall, not bad. I’m tempted to get the Proyama 68cc 24”. I actually ordered one and it got cancelled by Amazon due to unavailability or some reason. I don’t need it, but be interesting to put against my MS391. “Can I borrow one of your chainsaws?” OK, here. Ultimately, we will see if this little guy likes riding along on UTV and ATVs. This is its temporary home. If your buying one saw or your only saw or your first, its a different situation. Get a 16" bar MS180, Echo, maybe the Husky. $200 saws with more utility. This saw is more of an accessary.

Great little saw, have been using this for about 3 months around the farm and homestead. Very durable so far, and a ton of power for a little saw. extremely functional. Revs up great! Size is perfect for my boys to use for firewood. Also great for smaller jobs for adults. Would make a great climbing saw, very easy to setup and use. Average noise for a chainsaw in my experience……didn’t put a decibel meter on it.
