Tiny Trim 4.5" Ball-Tipped Scissor for Dog, Cat and all Pet Grooming - Ear, Nose, Face & Paw - Scaredy Cut's small Safety Scissor Blue

Was looking for a way to safely trim the hair around my puppy's eyes in between grooming appointments and this scissors is perfect! It is sharp, but the safe ends make me feel confident that I won't accidentally hurt her if she moves.

These are marvelously sharp scissors that are easy to use to trim small dogs' faces and ears and mats from long-haired cats! The scissors are balanced and easy to hold for me. My favorite scissors!

My wife and I have had Malteses for almost 30 years. We love them. Our first lived to be almost 18 years. Our second only lived to be 4 years old (died of lymphoma only 4 years old) a few years ago. And we got our current dog, Brady. He is 5 years old. My wife died and I have Brady. He loves to be brushed, but he is an absolutely nut. The one common attribute amount them is that Maltese’s dogs have hair and need to be groomed regularly. The hair grows continuously and does not shed. Anyhow, I get Brady groomed about 3-4x a year. But we live in ny and in the winter I keep the house at about 65° so I prefer to keep the house on the cool side, about 65°. And his hair long. But Brady’s face gets very long, kind of like a miniature sheepdog with hair over his eyes. That has bothered me, but I don’t want him trimmed. He should have a long coat to keep him warm. Recently I was looking for a way to keep his face trimmed (he looks like a small sheepdog if you don’t). We have a dog trimming kit, which he hates). So I looked for an alternative. I found these scissors. He actually both accepts them and seems to appreciate the results. Now I can trim all around his face, so there is no hair in his eyes. He seems to tolerate it very well and appreciate it. I think that because they are very sharp and have the serrated edges they don’t bother him, he doesn't mind them. I have trimmed his face twice and he has been great. I really think that now he appreciates the trim.

Purchased these because of the nice reviews. How could so many people be so wrong! They feel nice and well made, however in cutting ability they proved substandard. Tried them on two dogs: one with coarse hair and one with fine hair with very poor results. The hair moves between the two cutting blades without proper cutting producing inaccurate cuts with the need for many more cuts, never getting it right. My hands were getting very tired and my patience and the dogs' would not hold up to this! The screw appeared to be adjusted properly and there does not seem to be any damage to the blades. Went back to my old vintage scissors which I was replacing deciding that perhaps I don't need new scissors afterall since they cut without causing the hairs to move producing precise cuts, although they do lack the blunt tips. These scissors might be useful for small children's art work. I may return them as I have no use for them. UPDATE: It was very kind of the company to replace the scissors without delay and without me having to request it. I am sad to have to leave my review rating as it stands, however, as the replacement scissors' performance is not any better than the original. I was offered a refund by the company and am not being asked to return either of the scissors. That sounds like real old fashioned service to me. Much appreciated. UPDATE: I HAVE NOW RECEIVED A THIRD FREE SCISSORS! This company really wants to satisfy their customers! How refreshing. Again, I wish I could say that the third one is an improvement, but I can't. Really did want to like the third. Thank you for your efforts. Because the company is so wonderful I added a star. Wish I felt I could do more - you're just so nice. UPDATE: In all I received 5 scissors! The last 2 work well. Also received a letter stating that the scissors had been improved. They do work much better. Therefore, I have added 2 stars.

These scissors are awesome, seriously! The size is perfect, easy to handle, and they feel sturdy. I use them to trim around my dog's eyes and paws all the time without any issues. Plus, they're sharp all the way to the tip, making the job super easy. Definitely recommend these to anyone who grooms their own pets!

Sharp Comfortable Great for our doodle

One of my cats is fat, plain fat Only gets food once a day and not a huge portion she flies around the house and plays but she’s just a chunk. She can not clean her back because she can not reach it. She tolerates being brushed for about 30 seconds & then starts nipping & scratching. I bought shavers and but the matts were too dense so I ordered these little scissors. I starved her all day and then gave her food to distract her so I could work on cutting them. My goodness are these little blunt end scissors the absolute best things I have purchased this whole month. Gradually cutting and lifting on what I referred to as a camel hump these little scissors did the job. Sharp but safe and within 15 minutes the hair hump was completely cut off. Best product of the year in the cat world. She needs a break after all that. She is a little grumpy, but I’ll need to use the shaver to completely buzz the rest of her back. I can only imagine that she feels much better now however

Perfect scissors to cut the straggly bits of hair around my dogs eyes, the round tips reassure me that I am not going to damage him and the small size makes them easy to use.

Excellent product. My three dogs are extremely sensitive about having their faces trimmed back, usually ending in them making a lot of noise and me not getting the result required! However since I have used these incredible scissors all three dogs have let me trim back close to their eyes, nose and chin. The scissors are quiet, sharp and very easy to use. I don't have to worry when working near their eyes as the little balls on the end of the scissors mean the blades don't go anywhere near their eyes so therefore not as frightening. I bought two pairs and gave one to my daughter for trimming her two dogs and she loves them as well and can't believe how easy they are to use. Great product with great price. I will definitely recommend them. Well Done Scaredy Cut!!

I am a licensed dog breeder - Yorkies and toy poodles. When my puppies go to their forever families I send along a puppy package with them. I purchased these scissors to go into those puppy packs. These scissors are great ! Because of the slightly serrated edge, the silky Yorkie hair does not slide out of the blade while you are trimming around their faces. These scissors are lightweight and easy to handle. Because of the rounded safety tips - I found them to be very safe to use around the dog's eyes and in between their toes - no worries about accidentally puncturing them. I like the fact that they come in pink or blue - makes them easy to spot amongst my grooming supplies.
