I fell in love with this game. Returning to proper turn based combat was refreshing and the semi open world is beautiful. The music is amazing and the devs really put alot of effort and love into this game. I did struggle with the parrying mechanic, but that’s just me needing to get good. The story had alot of twists, tension, comedy and the characters had actual depth and growth.

Hands down the best RPG I've played in a decade. It's visually stunning, music is amazing, story is rich, Voice acting is top notch. I liked all the characters. Combat is fantastic and who would have thought that a couple simple changes would have made all the difference in a turn base game. Dodge, parry and block is a brilliant addition to turn based combat.

I’m honestly blown away by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I wish I had started this game sooner. From the very beginning, it pulls you in with its atmosphere, art direction, and unique tone. The world feels rich and thoughtfully designed, and the story has a weight to it that keeps you wanting to see what happens next.The combat is engaging and rewarding, striking a great balance between strategy and intensity. It feels fresh compared to other RPGs I’ve played, and it keeps me thinking instead of just going through the motions. The characters are memorable, and the overall presentation—from visuals to music—is top tier. And speaking of the music, the soundtrack is amazing!If you’re even remotely interested in story-driven RPGs, don’t wait like I did. This one is absolutely worth your time. It's no wonder it swept the Game Awards.

One of the best games ever made. Deep, thought provoking story and relationships as well as philosophical and existential themes. Gorgeous graphics and possibly the best original soundtrack in the history of gaming. Unique active/ turn based battle system with deep customization build options. This is a special game that would never have survived AAA focus groups and was made by a small French developer. A masterpiece in every way.

I was hesitant to go with this game being a turn based game. However, after months of mostly positive reviews, I decided to purchase it. I wasn’t looking to purchase this edition but the standard was sold out everywhere or shipping was going to take forever. For $10 more, this was just a few days. I am glad I did it. While not a perfect game, it has been quite enjoyable. I figure a 8.5/10. Combat is smooth, graphics are good (I use performance mode). The story and characters are well done as well as the music. This is a very dodge/parry heavy game. Parry preferred because of the powerful counters you can deliver. While I am not the best at timing parries in any game, I have been decent at this one. I am not beating bosses first attempt or overpowered so I am having to lose a few times to learn attacks and timing. While there is an easier setting, I don’t think it helped at all with parrying so I play on Expeditioner setting. I do feel all the cosmetics are pointless but if you want to platinum the game, my understanding is you have to get them all. Overall, this gameis a fun experience and I recommend it.

Truly one of the greatest turn based RPGs ever made. For me, it’s my favorite since FFX. Easy to follow but very good story, amazing combat with the perfect mix of strategy and skill. Loved every minute of this game. It was a little tough to tell what you had done and what you hadn’t for side quests, and without a mini map it was easy to get lost, but that also added to the exploration. This is a 10/10 game in my book, I’ll definitely play it again.

This game was amazing! It deserves all of the awards and then some.Regarding shipping and packaging, it was delivered in one piece, with no dents or scratches. The box it was shipped in didn’t have the best padding, however, so I can understand why some people had issues there.The game itself is so breathtaking and beautiful. The music accompanies the story so well and had me tearing up when important scenes played. The parry system of the game was intimidating at first; learning the timing for hits may take some practice for others, including understanding Lumina and Pictos. Overall, this game is a masterpiece for the generation and deserves all of the recognition.

I REALLY enjoyed this game. As someone who longs for old school, turn-based RPGs, this really hit the spot. Wasn't a huge fan of needing to dodge/block in order to beat hard/optional bosses, but having the ability to lower difficulty was great for me. Story was awesome and not at all what I expected. Music was great too. Definitely recommend this game to any RPG lover, but especially those that enjoy turn-based.

Makes you feel something. Incredible music. A truly unique gaming experience. Can see why it won so many awards.

Un juego muy bonito la verdad lo probé en Xbox game pass me enamoré de la primera vista y decidí comprarlo para PlayStation 5 en esta edición ya que nunca lo acabé en Xbox la verdad muy recomendable y vale la pena

Desde que vi la portada del juego me llamó la atención la ambientación oscura y misteriosa que transmitía. Luego investigué, vi videos y gameplays y no me terminaba de convencer que los combates fueran por turnos ya que nunca he sido fanático de este genero. Sin embargo leí muchas reseñas que decían lo mismo que yo y al final terminó encantándoles el juego. En fin, lo compré en promoción y debo decir, que me arrepiento de no haberlo conseguido antes. El juego es simplemente hermoso y muy divertido. Me encantan sus escenarios que parecen sacados de historias de fantasía así como los enemigos a los que te enfrentas y ni hablar de los combates. Debo admitir que al principio me costó un poco agarrarle el ritmo pero después de 1 hora aproximadamente (y de darme cuenta de que había elegido la mayor dificultad), entendí como funcionaba y empezó la verdadera diversión. Aun no termino el juego ya que la exploración puede hacer que pases horas y horas en un mismo mapa, pero todo lo que he visto hasta ahora me ha encantado y ni hablar de la banda sonora que es sencillamente majestuosa. Si estas considerando comprarlo, no pierdas más tiempo como yo y hazlo de una vez, no te arrepentirás.
