Clair Obscur Expedition 33 PS5

This is an absolutely amazing game. The graphics are gorgeous, the music is hauntingly beautiful, the story is sad and intriguing, and the gameplay is addicting. If you are on the fence about this game, quit hesitating. You will not regret it. I've seen a few places that called it a "souls-like," it is not. There is parrying and dodging during battles, but it is not too hard to get the hang of it. If you die, the most that will happen is you spend a few seconds getting back to the monster that defeated you. You don't lose anything, and monsters only respawn if you rest.This is the first game in a long time that I have to drag myself away from my console. I make plans on when I can get back to playing. I'm happy it's going to rain for three days because I won't feel guilty about not getting outside yardwork done, and I can beat some more monsters instead. The makers of Clair Obscur knocked it out of the park. I hope to see many more games from them.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one of the best video game experiences I've ever had. Its gameplay, story, world, and music are all top notch which is quite impressive from a first-time studio. Really brought back memories of some of my favorite games I loved as a kid.Even if you aren't into RPGs, I would say it's worth giving it a shot as it's respectful of your time compared to usual games of the genre, and is a perfect blend of strategy and action with an engaging narrative. If you are an RPG fan, it's an absolute must play!!For $50, this game is an incredible value!

I have to admit I have only played this game for a few hours. I purchased it because it reminded me of the old Final Fantasy games especially with the super baroque art design. The main gameplay is turn based combat like the JRPGs of old but done in a hyper romantic French rococo style. But it is not just pretty (and fun to play) but very well acted and well done storytelling. You know when you are holding back tears at the intro sequence you are going to be in for a ride. Simply put, the game delivers on the hype.

Been playing for about 4 hours so far and gotta say it’s a nice change to most other new games that have been coming out. Not too stressful and the story is very original. The combat is satisfying also. And most importantly the developers focused on actually making a fun game; meaning no political bs! I know we’re all tired of that mess. For $50 you’re getting a higher quality game than these $70 plus overpriced/over rated games.Btw I know there are scalpers taking advantage right now so try to be patient and not buy into them. There will be plenty of copies again soon.

This game is truly a special gem that I could not put down. Games like these should not be missed & need to be studied for the sheer ambition and brilliance by the developers. Story and Characters are written very well, Graphics are gorgeous and the music.. my God the music is absolutely top tier S rank 👌.. the turn based combat combined with the real time parry and dodge mechanics of games like Sekiro makes for a really engaging battle system that's a joy to experience. No wonder it's sold out physically almost everywhere.. definitely belongs in everyone's collection.

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this game. This is absolutely worth collecting as a physical copy. Already I'm in love with the music. I'm just actually happy I got a copy. The physical releases have been sold out everywhere and I had to back order. Amazon does well with their back orders when they allow it. Though they did deliver it to the wrong address I did get my game.

This is one of the best games I have had the privilege to play. The art design is both haunting and beautiful and the soundtrack is best in class. If you like turn based games, you owe it to yourself to play this game.

It’s one Glitch as of this writing (5/14/25) that will mess up the game for you. Doesn’t matter if you: restart, turn system back on, go to camp than return to main map. If you don’t have multiple saves, it’s a wrap for you! Hope you don’t get the running at the corner on the map junk. Video won’t load for me to show you more…
