I've been restoring a 1976 MG Midget barn find. I bought some Sinless liner to help make the car rattle less and feel more solid. This product is easy to cut, easy to install, and extremely sticky. I used it to line the trunk, the interior, and even some under the hood of the old MG. The adhesive stands up to the brutal temperature of the engine bay, and when (by accident) some fuel spilled onto the foam, it didn't fall apart or turn to mush. Thanks to Siless, the MG now feels like a modern car. The floor pans feel much more solid, the doors make a heftier thud when you close them, and the trunk no longer sounds like a percussion instrument when you touch it. If you know what you're doing, this product will transform the feel of a car. I found that 36 sq ft was enough for my MG Midget, but for a bigger car I would want more. The pattern on the back helped me to cut perfectly measured squares and rectangles. The foam itself doesn't have a strong odor, it works super well, and has held up to several months of changing temperatures (in the Midwest US.)

So, I'm using this in my jeep as the secondary layer on top of the butyl layer. I can definitely tell this will work. Adds mass and the thump test is audibly different. My issue is with sticking. I'm cleaning the metal with dawn and it's very clean. It sticks really well to your hand, but it's hit or miss on the actual sheet metal. I'm using a roller and areas are still unsticking. I recommend buying an adhesive spray to use with this to get the best results. If I did this again, I'd spend more money and buy the soundskins deadener. Premade combination of both materials.

I've put this in 4 trucks now. A 2005 GMC 2500 Duramax crew cab, a 1995 F350 Powerstroke crew cab, a 1979 F150 single cab, and most recently a 2005 F250 Powerstroke crew cab. All of which got insanely quieter. The 2005 F250 went from having to have the radio at 17 to hear it and 33 to jam out to music before the Siless, to 11 to hear music 24 to jam out. I did also use the Siless 80 on the whole cab and this 157 on the floors and in the sub box. Installation was a breeze. I paired this with the 80 mil Siless aluminum backed mat so this adhered to the aluminum. This was well worth the purchase in my mind and I will continue to put it in every truck I purchase.

Easy to work with and so far have had no issues with it coming loose after being installed. Used is in my UTV to help cut down on the noise and has helped with that.

Si buscas reducir la resonancia de la lamina debes usar primero caucho butilo y despues agregarle esta espuma encima para mejores resultados. Cumple perfectamente con su funcion que es aislar y sellar paneles, al sellar puertas mejora la acustica de los altavoces, evita vibraciones y ruidos si se usa como empaque o junta al montarlos, el adhesivo es muy fuerte, se pega excelente y es dificil removerlo, no desprende olor alguno aun con el coche cerrado todo el dia bajo el sol a 38 grados.

Facile a décoller et facile à installer. Il coupe bien le son pour cette épaisseur.
