GratKit 8K Rigid Resin, 3D Printer 405nm UV-Curing Photopolymer Resin, High Precision Low Odor 3D Printing Resin - 1000g, Transparent Red

Not brittle at all, prints excellently and is fairly rigid with a decent amount of flex. I'd compare it to most ABS-like resins I've used but for functional parts a little better. At £20/L it's currently good value too. It's a dark black but not as opaque as some. You'll need about 3mm thick parts to completely block light. Scratches a little easier than I'd hope. Apart from that perfect. Even made a quick replacement door handle which functions perfectly.

Used with my Saturn 2 with resins recommended setting… tuned exposure time down to 1.75s and prints are clean and crisp without a failure so far. Not as strong an odour as some and a pleasure to work with at a great price for the models I print.

Considering how expensive some of these are this does a fantastic job for elegoo 8k printers

Ive tried all sorts of resins and this one has proven to be exceedingly hard. It did like to be over 20 degrees when in use I found. Models were crisp.

Been using the 1 kg bottles for a while and we go through them so fast so to have a larger version to help keep up with demand is great

Ordered this to print off some Ghostbusters 3d files- I have a "Slimer" model and this resin was the ideal material to print it with. The item arrived safely packed in a vacuum bag inside a solid card transit box - no leakage :) Once unpacked, I decided to pour some resin into my printer vat...OMG- this stuff stinks!! I have used many brands of 3d resin over the years, but this one stinks to high heaven. Luckily I have a Elegoo Mars Mate (powered large air filter and purifier) so that has alleviated the smell. Print results were good, with detail clear and crisp- Once the model was washed and cured, the item does glow well at night, although not sure how long that effect will last. Now... let's talk about the elephant in the room.. the price per 1kg/ltr is bonkers... I know it's a "glow in the dark" resin, but this is nearly 3x the price of a normal tub of resin... At that current price break would I buy again? - definitely no, but if you need some resin for a special project (maybe a lightsaber for a figurine etc) then it would last a while. Overall, good quality, does what it promises but at a cost that is maybe a little difficult to swallow for most hobbyists. B+

Failed prints every time no matter how I adjusted the printer don’t know if it was a bad batch bud just constant fails i used different resins after to make sure and they were fine

This resin took a little more dialling in than any of the other resins I've used over the last 5 years I've been printing. Running the cones of calibration helped, though some prints still failed where others were fine. This resin is also one of the smelliest I've had to work with for a long time - it's good practice to have decent ventilation, but it's an absolute must with this stuff! The resulting prints do glow in the dark, though it's not quite as vibrant as I'd expected it to be. The price is up there with other mid tier specialist resins so not too bad, but I don't think I'll be bulk buying any time soon!

Resina de alta calidad y muy fácil de usar usada en mi Elegoo Saturn 3 12K logrando así sacar unos resultados con aún mas calidad que una resina standar ya que es una resina de calidad 8k, tiene bastante dureza a la vez que una buena flexibilidad, comparable a resina ABS, no he tenido ningún problema a usar mi configuración básica sin modificar ningún parámetro, punto positivo a mi gusto es la forma del bote, que la hace genial para manipularla y guardarla (comparado con los botes redondos tan grandes de otras marcas), en su caja incluye un par de guantes para su utilización y un folleto explicativo de sus diferentes gamas y sus características, muy recomendable tanto para gente experimentada como para gente qué acabe de comenzar.

Resina usata sia con una Anycubic Photon M5Plus che con una Phrozen Sonic Mini 4k. E' completamente trasparente quando la stampa è finita, una volta lavata in isopropilico tende ad opacizzare un pò. Effetto giallino compare dopo la cura. Per sistemare queste due problematiche: - il giallino va via dopo qualche giorno - una volta curato il pezzo, spennellare leggermente un pò di resina, così si otterrà nuovamente la trasparenza. Si potrebbe anche non lavare la stampa e passare alla cura, ma nel mio caso ci vorrebbe più tempo, e per sicurezza, preferisco sempre fare il lavaggio. Lascio alcune immagini per far vedere le differenze tra l'effetto opaco dopo lavaggio e cura, e quello dopo il ciclo completo. Aggiungo inoltre una foto durante la cura, perchè era troppo bello da vedere xD
