Don't waste your time
I hate to have to agree with some of these reviews, but for the price of this product, its not worth it. I have an older double sink granite vanity that always looked dull and had numerous sorts of even duller spots. I had bought a kit years ago from a tile store that worked pretty well, and had a very fine grit paper with it. This kit does not. The paste has a thicker consistency that cold cream, and actually does a good cleaning job. But, its not going to work on an older surface that requires more aggressive reconditioning. My vanity counter is marginally shinier even after 3 applications. So, I would say that this product may only be helpful for a newer, slightly dull surface but not an older one. Bummer.

I guess that would be if you don't have an power polisher, its almost useless
Don't know what would happen if I used a power polisher, but with the cloth it came with, did very little good
