No noise, good pads
I replaced brake pads of my car with a set I purchased from a retail store. Pads made noise when braking. purchased another set from the same retail store hoping the fist set was defective. It had the same issue. Then I thought of trying these Wagner set and they are quiet.

Work as expected
Took a while for my rebate to be processed but that is partially my fault. I like not having to clean brake dust off the rims every week. Several months ago I had my mechanically inclined associate install them for me and he did not notice any issues with craftsmanship. They still work well now. I had a full brake job completed since my car is quite old: rotor replacement; brake shoes; rear drums; rear cylinders; brake flush; and of course brake pads. The shoes (model PAB599AR) and pads I bought were Wagner ThermoQuiet. So, if you can purchase them during a rebate period they are well worth the money.

Great brake pads for a good price!
I really am satisfied with these new brake pads that I've installed on my car. They have a really good bite while braking, and are definitely better performing than the stock pads that I had on before. I have about 8k miles on these new pads so far, and I don't have any complaints yet!As far as the quietness of them goes, all I can say is they haven't started squeaking yet. All worn out brake pads are designed to squeak when they are too worn out, letting you know its time for a new set. So far these are simply performing as I would expect a good set of pads to perform, and I would say that they are slightly above average (as compared to stock) in terms of braking performance. I haven't "measured" them, but thats just what my gut evaluation feels like.
