I had bought this RC boat for my son October 2024, we really loved it and it was a lot of fun. I thought I had recordings of it flying around in the water but I guess I don't. I will say very durable very fun, it handles very easy, and it turns on a dime. What also helps is the self-right sensor, so every time we would flip it, it would just self right itself. Battery life is good honestly we can get out there and enjoy it together before it dies, sometimes he would be out there on the kayak and I'll just be having the boat zoom right past him. Sadly though, one daya we were on our way to go throw it in the water, my son tripped on a rock and dropped it, when that happen unfortunately both Clips broke off that help seal it making a waterproof. I tried to point them out in the picture, you can see if you zoom in or look closely, I already knew that once we put it in the water, it was going to mess up the electronics, because that same thing happened with our last boat, as soon as those clips or tabs broke off water got inside and messed up the whole thing. We had a full battery so of course we had fun with it until the battery died. When we tried it again the following day, it would not turn on. I will be ordering another one, no honestly I might just order two so we don't have to share anymore lol overall it truly is a fun RC boat and definitely do not use this in a swimming pool, this thing is way too fast to be contains when something so small. I ran this RC boat for a week and honestly loved it fast, smooth on the water, and really fun to drive. The handling was responsive and it tracked well, even when I pushed it hard. Then all of a sudden the motor just stopped with no warning, which was super disappointing. If the motor issue gets fixed, it’s an awesome RC boat, but that sudden failure is a big downside.

A great gift for almost anyone. If you give them as a gift you might as well get one for yourself as you will not believe how much fun this little boat can be. It is FAST, can turn turn on a dime, can't sink and easy to control with the hand held remote. After I gave it as a gift I had to buy one for myself.

So much right yet so much wrong. Fit and finish is spot on but, the basic layout is anengineering nightmare. The lack of symetry is frightening. Inside there is alot of compensation on each side for weight distribution instead of putting everything in the center. The rudder is way to the right of the back of the boat impairing it from doing tight left hand turns. Turning right is nice and tight. The rudder should be directly dead center behind the propeller. It is very fast but, steering is wierd and unbalanced. And it does leak a little. Every time I run it a little water always gets inside by the motor. I checked for loose hoses but nothing out odf place yet water is still getting in. Its still fun but an engineering mess. Having said all that deerc has great customer service. They sent me a replacement boat for the 1 that leaks but the new one would not work. They tried to help. I own other deerc products that are really good. Would buy another deerc just not this one

i gave this 4 stars because it was sooooooo much fun - while it lasted - the range of the controller was unbelievablly far -- i think the waterproofing needs to be better as the boat stopped reponding after about 3 charges -- may have just been the one we received -- but everyone loved the " shark" shape and it is very fast -- i would like to have had another one to test it out better aa we returned it when it stopped working ....
