MY FIRST TIME USING ELECTRIC JUICER AFTER YEARS OF GLASS MANUAL ONE
Woooooooooooooooooooh! I am just mesmerized! I love natural and healthy things and I could not find the ideal option out there so I stick to using glass manual hand squeezer one which is truly so much work to make one glass of juice that I often skipped the idea thinking of all the labor ahead. I was considering getting some manual/mechanical squeezer but the idea that the juice will have to travel through the metals of all sorts be it staginess or aluminum kind of puts me off and while plastic is not an ideal thing from health point perspective I somehow tend to think that very brief contact of the very acidic after all substance that orange juice is will have much less reactive power and chance to pick up stuff from this brief plastic situation then from also rather reactive metals. Even most lovely of the stainless steel contain all kinds of necessary additives t hat make it what it is, there is for sure chrome, nickel and some such additives that tend to be much quicker to react then the somewhat sleepy plastic. Anyway.. my first reaction is - this machine is absolutely amazing and I wish I got it earlier. Because.. I still can use my glass one when I feel more noble, but when I feel more lazy and need to get things done fast this will be the go to juicer. SPEED - it is fast, I mean I have ZERO experience with any other electric juicer out there but I find this speed manageable and fast enough to do job done without throwing anything at the walls. EFFECTIVNESS - TEN STARS ! - this thing get all the stuff from the inside of the half orange and leaves you with the bare pill inside, it just takes it all out. MANUAL FORCE - I was really afraid how it will work with nice soft ripen oranges that are easy to fall apart if you put force on it while squeezing but somehow it is super friendly in this area and the drilling force is gentle but consistent and very self assured and does what it supposed to be doing without transferring the force to the shell and breaking it. JUICE - I got so much more juice with this then with hand glass one and I don't know how it is even possible but it is really is super effective to get the EVERY last drop of juice from your orange. PULP- for some reason I don't see pulp so it must be pulverized in the process so it is there but I don't see it I love pulp either way as this is fiber and good one to that so ha! it is there for sure because it did not go anywhere else since it is not in the orange shell but again.. not visible in the juice per se. EASINESS - I think you can not possibly design easier machine, i was concerned at first when I saw it does not have any cover as you juice you use your hand and that is actually a plus, that way you can work on any size of fruit as I suppose a one size of plastic cover would limit the sizing and make smaller or bigger fruit with random amount of pulpishness and juice on the peel. You just wash it when it comes, plug it and you are good to go! truly no funny parts, the three elements there are you can see and they are the collecting jug, the strainer inside and the drilling part. nothing is screwed it is all put on so to take it apart you just lift t hose elements so a plus for time and efforts .. FUN FACTOR - huuuuuuuuuuuuuge! I got hooked after the first orange! the thing is that at this point in my life I can not for all reasons in the world find time to take pottery class but I love the work.. and this thing is just next best thing to the pottery wheel as you have the feel of this thing working and as you guide your FRUIT through the drill you feel a good relaxing energy coming out from the whole process so this became a juicing therapy if you need it when you need it. PRICE - love it, I truly appreciate low priced items that do their job. The Gourmet Elite has a tendency to make good items for reasonable price. I own their white kettle hot water pot that I am using for years and it is elegant and works great so that made me to look into this puppy. I am glad I did. It is very simple machine and frankly in the whole world of the orange or citruc juicing universe I think it is entirely enough. I know there are tons out there to pick from but I don't see any reason of spending big bucks on something that does exactly the same thing. I highly recommend you to get this one as a starting point and at least to see if you like the process and I am sure you will find it good enough. I did. If not you can always upgrade to the high end models that will do the same but truly this is a great place to start.

Great juicer for a beginner like me.
I love this juicer! It's very easy to use and I believe I get better results each time I use it. Cleaning it is a breeze, and it does not take up a lot of space in my cabinet. The noise level is minimal, and the juice quality is good every time.

Decent first use, with some important observations.
Overall construction is middle of the road, with some parts feeling better made than others. The overall design is simple, and effective. The reamer (I have used only the small one so far) is good at getting everything out of the peel. The motor turns at a good speed, and it feels decently powerful for its size. The seed and pulp tray is effective at getting out most of seeds, and helps manage what pulp gets into the final product. Some smaller or underdeveloped seeds, and a moderate amount of pulp will make it into the juice. Only has liter marks on the side. It needs marks for oz and cups as well. I had to make my own cup marks on the side. The clear plastic lid, that is used to hold the fruit, has a smooth surface that contacts the fruit, and it really needs to have a textured surface, so that it can get a grip on the fruit while juicing. The fruit will often just catch on the reamer, and spin with the reamer, especially as you get a few pieces into it. The lid can make juicing harder because of that reason. I stop using it and just use my hands and maybe a fork to help hold the fruit in place. The motor, as mentioned above, feels powerful enough for its size, but it did start to struggle (or at least started to sound like it wanted to struggle) a little near the end of my initial use, and the base was a little warm. I would probably not buy this juicer if I was planning on using it for larger quantities of juice at a time. It does not feel like it would last very long, if used in that manner. If you make the occasional lemonade or limeade (up to the 5 cup max), then it may last a decent amount of time. I will find out as I plan on using it once every week or two for the summer for making lemon or limeade. The noise level is fairly normal for a kitchen appliance. It is probably on par with most automatic can openers or immersion blenders. Note that I have only used it once, to make lemonade, and used it to make about 3 cups of juice, so longer term use may change my views.

It will squeeze out all the juice
Great juicer; love the additional attachments that help squeeze out extra juice. Easy to clean and I have used it multiple times.

Value for your money
This is affordable and straight up value for your money. It’s my first one and I am glad I bought it. Setting it up is easy and pulling down to wash and clean is just as easy. I did two large batch of oranges a day apart and both times it work well with no issues. You do have to strain if you don’t want to have pulp in your juice as quite a bit is left in there but i didn’t see it as a big issue but wanted you to be aware. It also has reverse spinning which helps to get every juice out. As for durability I just got mine a couple days ago so only time will tell but for the price I would definitely recommend you buying it.

Pretty nifty
Nice little juicer. Gets through a bunch of citrus in no time. Some said it was loud but I don’t think the noise is that bad. Biggest complaint is that the strainer holes are too large. I have to do a second straining to get all the pulp and seeds out. Pretty good for the price.

Wow! Low tech and works GREAT! For citrus fruit this is 100 times better than a hand reamer or fancy squeezer of any sort. Does not require very much hand strength like those squeezers do and is not nearly as expensive as full on juicers. If you are concerned about all the bad chemicals in premade OJ like I am, get one of these and make your juice fresh whenever you want it. Easy cleanup too!

It works very well and is easily cleaned in the dishwasher top rack.
