Bag should come with a warning. Once you taste this, hard to put the spoon down! lol!! Slightly crunchy, w. that lovely, rich flavor coconut addicts (such as myself & hubby) expect from dried, unadulterated coconut!! Great in baked goods or sprinkled over hot cereals, salads, etc. Very Happy w. purchase and would definitely buy this brand again!

Great flavor

I actually ordered this BECAUSE of the "bad" reviews. I used Bob's red mill macaroon coconut for years, until they price jacked it to more than twice the price it had always been. I've been looking for a replacement ever since.I needed a very fine cut, very dry shredded coconut for my recipes to work. I use it of course in macaroons but also candies, Popsicles, no bake cookie balls, traditional cookies and cakes!Price is slightly higher per ounce than Bob's used to be but a steal of a deal compared to the new price. Very glad to have it back.No mush, no hay length shreds, no nasty preservatives. Made Popsicles and no bake cookies already today. Looking forward to eating them later.
