High end monitor with a budget price
This high performance monitor from Samsung exceeds all my needs at a budget price. Below are my pros and cons:Pros:1- Beautiful monitor display, bright sharp colors2- Plug and play monitor -recognized by Windows 11 and Linux Mint with 3840 4K resolution.3- Budget price compared to other major brands.4- Good packaging delivered monitor in perfect conditionCons:1- Big & bulky thick design looks dated2- Stand takes up a large amount of desk space3- Power/Settings button is on back and can be difficult to reach if mounted; would prefer they be under front bezelOverall very happy with this high quality monitor from a top brand Samsung, at a great price.

Great monitor, sad base.
Plug and play monitor. Picture good, but be ready to play with settings to get the best out of it. I will be using for mostly CAD. Nice and large.OK, so the base mount is the worst - shame on you Samsung. The monitor just hangs forward with no friction to tilt front / back and no up/ down and no L/R. Go ahead and throw an adjustable mounting arm for $50.-$100. in that cart.

4k? Yes please
The difference between this and my older Samsung 1080 32 inch is like night and day. I am so glad I upgraded when one of my 32 refurbished Samsungs went acid trip. Colors are vibrant almost glowing. Visuals are stunning in 4k. I use this mostly for TC2000 charting. They say a flat screen and a better for analytics, then a curved, which I almost got. The charts look amazing on this. On sale from $349 down to $199. Are you kidding? For under 200? This is a game changer. Speaking of, I should load a game , probably will look pretty awesome. If you stare at a screen for hours, why not have one that looks great. I will only get 4k from now on.

Good, but...
The screen is huge and looks pretty nice overall — definitely feels immersive at first.BUT once I hooked it up to my laptop, everything got super laggy. It can’t play sound, and the performance took a nosedive. Also, the refresh rate isn’t high, so there’s a lot of screen tearing and frame drops, which is really distracting.Oh, and it claims to have built-in speakers, but nope — there's nothing. I’m still using my laptop for audio.Nice size, decent visuals, but overall pretty disappointing for actual use. Wouldn’t recommend if you care about performance or sound.

Fantastic 4K Monitor for Work and Play
I recently upgraded to the Samsung ViewFinity S7 27-inch monitor, and I’m genuinely impressed. The 4K resolution is crisp and vibrant, making both text and images look incredibly sharp. Colors feel accurate and rich, which is perfect for photo editing, design work, and even just binge-watching shows. The build quality is excellent — the stand feels solid and adjustable, and the overall design is sleek and modern. I also appreciate the minimal bezels; they give a clean look, especially if you’re using multiple monitors.Performance-wise, everything is smooth. I noticed no lag or flickering, even when multitasking with several windows open. Setup was straightforward, and it works seamlessly with my laptop and desktop.Overall, this monitor is worth every penny. Whether for professional work or just enjoying high-quality content, I’d highly recommend it.

Very Nice Monitor
When I purchased this monitor, I was really concerned about the bad reviews. I have yet to experience any of the issues other people have reported. As far as I can see, the only downside to this monitor is that it's only 60Hz, but I knew that buying it. If you are fine with 60Hz, then you will like this monitor and the price. My other concern was how well this upscaled games because my video card cannot play all games at full detail in 4k. Running at 1080p, the games I tested didn't look too bad, the quality was better than I normally see. I can also adjust the sharpness to further refine the picture. Note that I used the Display Port connection. There is some light bleeding at the two bottom corners, but it's very muted so I have no issues with it. My monitor came free of dead pixels. I avoided LG this time since my last 2 monitors from them had dead pixels, so I was very happy to not see any here. Finally, the Freesync implementation works really nice. My other gaming monitor (LG), has Freesync support, but it doesn't seem to work. I experience tearing and frame rate slowdowns despite Freesynce being enable in both AMD's software and on the monitor. This monitor has no such issues. Display is fluid and void of tearing with vsync disabled. I did have some games detect the refresh rate at 30hz which obviously killed performance. Once I got the refresh rate up to 60hz, the games became extremely fluid and responsive. Overall, I'm really pleased with this purchase. Wasn't expecting such a good screen for the price.
