This stuff works!
I’m about 3/4 of the way through the pot - I’ve used it twice a day religiously after washing with hot water - and the redness on my right cheek has almost disappeared and there are only a few visible broken capillaries on my left cheek. The ones round my nose are still there, though. Pity it doesn’t have spf in it, so I have to use a second cream for that.

it's made a difference - persevere
So, I have been holding off reviewing this to see what it does mid- to long-term. I suffer from rosacea and wanted something that could help remove or at least tone down the capillaries that can develop with that condition. I am also in my mid 60s so some of my visible capillaries may be age-related. I had been looking at various cosmetic surgery procedures, but they all look like hokum to me and I thought that it couldn't hurt to try something topical, even though I was very sceptical. In the short term, I found this stuff softened my skin but made no visible difference. However, I have now been using it since Jan '22 and can say that it has made a difference to my skin quality and appearance – I noticed this about 8 weeks in, using it in small amounts twice a day.I am using it on my face, and probably like everybody else, my face has areas of differently textured skin. These have responded in different ways and at different speeds to each other. Over all, amazingly it seems to have controlled my rosacea, for which I had been periodically taking meds (oral doxycycline) and using some prescription topical stuff. Using this seems to have put the cycle of flare ups in abeyance! As far as I am aware, it is not advertised as doing this. Secondly it has undoubtedly help reduce the appearance of capillaries beside my nose, where the skin seems plumper and thicker. Thirdly, my nose itself has a layer of dense broken capillaries down the ridge to the tip. These have not gone but their appearance has been modulated and the area affected reduced, and I continue to use it on my nose in the hope that it will slowly reduce the visibility of these further. So this is a definite recommend to others, provided you are patient, and put it on twice a day for a couple of months. A single jar should be enough to do this.My complaint is the price. I bought this in Jan for between 12 and 13 GBP, and the price is now over 17. Skin doctors web site quotes 23! Jeeze! Rosacea is such a common problem – if my experience is repeatable then they should make a packet from this without gouging on the price.

Didn't work on my spider veins
I bought this cream hoping that it would reduce the spider veins around my nose and on my face but I don't think it has made much difference to the veins so far and I am on my second jar, however the cream has made my skin look alot more even and since I've been using the cream I have been getting asked for my ID quite alot ( very strange seen as I'm 40 ) so maybe it has anti ageing properties.

It's a fantastic cream and it works
I've been using this cream for over a month now and I have really noticed the difference. For me, the worst areas with the cheeks and around the nose. In the past I have tried various creams (some really expensive) but just didn't work for me. I have used Skin Doctors before but this was the first time I had tried this particular cream. I can honestly say I have really noticed a huge difference and it's given me confidence not to wear so much makeup to cover the spider veins. I highly recommend this particular product. Give it a try. I have since bought two more jars of this cream. I'm going to try and use this on my foot as there are some unsightly veins there and will let you know if it works well on my foot... Strange how it's only on my one foot, lol.The great thing about the cream is that it glides on really well and when you put make up there is no mess.I also use Skin Doctors Exfoliating Crystals, twice a week.. Gorgeous.

This product does not work.
This is a light and non greasy moisturiser with a pleasant scent. It does not however lessen the appearance of threads veins. I have used it for three months and there is no change. Further, if being used as a moisturiser, it has no SPF protection.

Good overall
This is a very nice product. I've used this for a few weeks and have found that some of the finer broken capillaries have lightened. The directions indicate that for best results you should apply this twice a day (I'm not always good at doing my evening routine as I regularly fall asleep on the sofa!) however I had been using every morning and seen some small results so I will definitely continue with using it.This has also had other unexpected good results too. I have only been using this on the area where I have the broken capillaries (across my cheeks and around the outer edge of my nostrils), using my usual moisturiser on the rest of my face, and have found that this capillary cream has also been very effective on the large open pores on my cheeks and left the skin in this area looking better than I can remember. (I've suffered with acne from the age of 11 well into my 20's)NOTEYou may have noticed some past tense. The information provided with the product indicates that using the product can cause some extra sensitivity to sunlight and to use spf while using the product. In the unexpected sunshine we have had I found that the skin in this area caught the sun a bit easier than other areas of my face. So as I'm not so good at remembering to apply this (Or have time in the morning before work) I've paused on using this until the autumn for now. If you have a better memory or more time this shouldn't cause a problem!
