Very solidly made

Really like the design of this carrier because it not only folds up, but also down to allow room to open a rear hatchback.

Assembly is easy

I bought this because it was a perfect size to go between my box carrier and my retractable awning. This is a perfect size and I like the design however be warned the hardware that comes is a very poor quality the screws the nuts and bolts are very, very, very soft metal Most of the screws stripped out and were unusable and I had to bore out the broken pieces. my recommendation is by this kit, but your own hardware hardware would probably cost about $15 and would save you a lot of time and heartache.

We have likely an atypical application: trying to add roof rack space on an Isuzu NRR double cab truck.We also bought from Amazon an Hyperax XL rack primarily. That also seems great, but we had around 20” of remaining space. This fit the bill.As an atypical install, I had to drill new clamp holes to fit the wide bar width. Instructions stink but it’s fairly easy to assemble….looks kool, doesn’t creat much windnoise , wobble or vibration….no issues going through car washes….has remained tight & secure….highly recommended

Quality control is lacking with this brand. I purchased two cargo carriers; both had poor welding and obstructed the threads where bolts need to be inserted, making a tap and die useful.
