Wow, what can I say. This is truly the most beautiful coat. 10/10 craftsmanship, the belt is beautifully made and the coat has a gorgeous inner lining that makes it so comfortable to wear. The material is almost velvety in texture, and it’s very thick and would actually keep you warm. I will say, I’m 5’2”, got an L and it’s quite long on me (hits about at my shins), but that’s really no problem as I can get it tailored. I am so happy with this and can’t wait to use it for my cosplays!

No handwashing, no machine wash, no machine dry, no dry cleaning, no anything unless you want to risk destroying an $80 costume piece. I ordered this weeks ago in preparation for the Rhode Island comic con because I wanted to dress up with my partner, unbeknownst to me the material risks severe damage if it is to be washed in any conceivable way. If it is kept away from life as a whole it may be okay, hung within a closet never to be touched until needed. I, however, was not as lucky and may now be without the most expensive portion of my costume days before the convention. If the cleaning warnings are far more fearful than the reality may be, then I would wish to know immediately as I'm running out of time. The coat is well made visually, I was more than happy with the quality when it arrived. Yet I would highly recommend against ordering it, unless I hear back from them with a proper way to clean it as any clothing item should have.

Did not meet expectations. The size is not true to size I would definitely recommend sizing down especially if you're not tall. The material itself is actually kind of rough and has that tautness to a typical costume you could buy at store. It was not the quality or value I'd expect from this price point. The detailing was fair however overall has to return it because of the outweighing factors.

Haven’t worn it yet, but I ordered it for an anime convention. This is THE FIRST cosplay item I’ve ever bought from Amazon that feels worthwhile. High quality fabric (wool, or similar synthetic), quality stitching and embroidery. Will see if it holds up to a full weekend convention. Also, I am a body builder who normally wears XL. I bought XL and it fits well everywhere except my chest/ back, where it’s a bit tight. For a regular person it would probably fit great. XL seems true to its size unlike many cosplays which are generally built for the more slender Asian market.

Really well made, looks good enough to wear all winter but we’ll save it for the Anime convention

I was surprised by how nice the quality is. It has good weight to it and the insignia is embroidered nicely. Super happy!

This thing is awesome. I had to return it for a large (the XL was way too big for a 42 chest), but I was blown away by the quality and attention to detail. Even the belt is dead on from the anime. This is way way above costume or even cosplay quality, it's almost winter wear. Really awesome AoT overcoat uniform piece.
