月齢ごとにプレートを変えていくのですが、紙やすりのような軽いプレートなのによく爪が削れます。指を削ってしまうことはありません。これが無かったら赤ちゃんの爪切りはどうやったらいいのだろうというくらい良いです。こんなにジタバタ動き回っているのに、ハサミや爪切りでやるのは危なすぎると感じました。
