AMOSTING Kids Pretend Play Kitchen Food Set,Cutting Fruits & Vegetables Educational Toys Cooking Set

I know it says ages 3+, but I wanted to have my son start playing with toy food for various reasons. I can see the top of the tea kettle being a choking hazard so I removed that until he’s older and will only let him play with the toys with supervision. That disclaimer aside, he loves playing with the food, feeding it to his “baby”, and even just filling the basket and dumping it out only to fill it again. He seems to really enjoy it and I appreciate that they are durable, hard plastic that seem to be able to take a beating. I also really like how the insides have details that are accurate to the food themselves. For instance, the apples are red on the outside and off white on the inside and the lemon has painted seeds in addition to having a different exterior texture (matte and bumpy) than the other foods. Those little details are a nice touch! I would definitely purchase this again!

A good purchase for toddlers who love to pretend-cook. It's been the top toy since it arrived. Lots of fun, the velcro makes a nice crunch sound when cut. The fruits and meats are definitely very sturdy and made of good firm plastic that looks like it can withstand some dropping and throwing. The stove dials have clicking noises when turned which is pretty cool. Pity the pot is too small to put the whole chicken or fish into it, only one vegetable at a time.

I was skeptical of these when I ordered. They arrived & I'm super happy with them! I'm a daycare provider & have used A LOT of toys throughout the years so, I consider myself to be an excellent critic in these areas. These are super cute, very well made & durable & the perfect size for toddler & young kids. Not thin, cheesy plastic. The velcro is strong & I know it will last a long time. The little stove & pot, tea pot I would love to be a bit bigger but the kids love them just the way they are. I've already placed an order for more!

My 6-year-old daughter enjoys playing with this food set. There are lots of different foods and accessories, and the ability to "cut" the foods in half is fun. My complaint is that it is pretty light weight and cheaply made, especially the basket, but so far it has held up. We've had it for 3 months so far.

Really happy with this set — and the price. I’d been eyeing some Melissa and Doug cutting sets, but they’re much pricier, and come grouped in veggies and fruits. I like the variety with this set (the addition of protein is great), and the little basket, range, kettle, and pot are a nice touch. The quality of the food and Velcro is great, too — I don’t feel like I scarified quality for price with this set at all. The knife is a little bit flimsy, though, so we’ve been using the wooden knife from the Melissa and Doug blender set instead.

My 2 year old son loves playing with pretend food, and loves the fact that he can cut them in half. He is speech delayed so pretend food has been helping a lot with him saying the names of the different kinds of food. I’m assuming that the product is from Japan because of the inclusion of what looks like Tonkatsu, and a Japanese sweet potato which we are not going to try and teach him the names of since he doesn’t see or eat it regularly lol. Glad with the purchase though. Quality is what was expected.

Amazing set!!! 1. Comes with variety of fruit and vegetables, fish, chicken and more .. so my kids got many options to choose from what to make for every meal ;-) 2. high quality and not cheap plastic like other brands I tried before. 3. I love the basket, my kids pretending like they are going on a picnic and it’s so cute!! 4. The most important thing is My kids loves it!! They can play with this for hours... happy kids is happy mother !!:-)

I was a little worried that they'd be cheap plastic and break, but when they arrived that was definitely not the case. They are very well made and the Velcro does a great job of keeping the halves together without making it too hard for the kids to 'cut' them apart. The basket has also held up very well over a couple years of use.
