Where is this filter made? Thank you

I've got bad news for you, Toyota does NOT make air filters, or any other filter for that matter. They assemble vehicles. Their filters are made by another manufacturer (probably Denso) and packaged per Toyota's specifications. Most likely, who ever supplied the filter to the plant in Princeton, IN, or Lafayette, IN (Depending on the model year) was also awarded the service contract. This is true for ALL auto manufacturers. When a particular model is changed (ie Gen 5 to Gen 6), the service contract MAY be awarded to a different supplier, but historically Toyota doesn't do this unless they had some extreme difficulties with the original supplier. I know this because I spent 17 years working for various Tier 1 automotive suppliers. I've worked directly with Toyota, Ford, GM, and Chrysler on these exact issues (among many others).

Just received. Came with a yellow line all the way across the middle of the filter. This happen to anyone else? Or is mine faulty?

The line should not affect how the filter works as it is a variation in color in the filter element. I’ve seen this with other filters
