This is easily one one of the best bang for the buck trail trucks out there. Even better is that with a small amount of upgrades it can be a decent crawler. It will never be a Capra or an Optic in the crawler areas but it will hold it's own for a big top heavy full bodied rig. Put in a Hobbywing Fusion Pro and it's a trail master. If you can afford the brushless version, I would go that route but this one is amazing for what it is. Just buy it... You will love this thing.

First off I want to give this 5 stars. It works amazing. The reason for the score is 1) it arrived open. 2) there was supposed to be metal trim pieces that were missing that go on each side of the doors. 3) there is a broken cosmetic piece on the top. It could be from the seller but it’s not worth my time to send it back. When paying this much you would think it would arrive whole. This is my first RC vehicle. The value is here because out of the box this thing does it all. Two speed transmission, front and rear lockers, lights, waterproof motor. Steering ability is nice and tight. It’s a lot of fun ripping around the snow this time of year.

FMS made a great crawler for the price. The upgrades that can be added only add it it’s greatness. Def a must buy.

I was really looking forward to this, and once delivered I spent a couple of hours setting everything up with the driver, bumper, and decals. However, once I started checking out the parts more closely, I discovered that the steering servo was making a horrible crunching noise when I moved the wheels left and right, not just the normal smooth whirring sound as expected. Really not good! I can only assume a bunch of the metal gear teeth have broken in transit somehow. I will return it for a refund, but the quality of the steering servo used doesn't bode well, so beware of cheap parts.
