My daughter would not put it down
I bought the first of these books on the recommendation of a friend who said it would be great for tweens. My older daughter found it very enjoyable (teen angst and emerging independence). She compared it to Disney's "the Incredibles."I was very happy for my ten year old to pick up the books and race through them. She says these are her favorite chapter books and is sharing with her classmates. If you're hoping to get your children to read instead of watching tv, give these books a try. They are enjoyed by kids aged 10 to 48.

Love it
My kids love this book. They are 11yrs old girl and boy twins. I read to them at night just for family time and fluency for them to hear me read. They ask me almost every night if we can read the book. They love it. The hero is 12yrs old and to think they are close in age is fun. We love the book.

A Great Follow-up
This series has been a great series. Mr. Ullman seems to know what to do. Bringing back the orb of oblivion was quite genius. Maybe in the next book he can control the Building Block and permanently keep it without taking.Ravager and watcher having a connection was a good idea. Some characters are brought, including 2 at the end and everything rights itself in the end. Wonder what the next book will be like. Cant wait.Adults with imaginations and kids alike will like this.
