Simple to use, reassuring, and very practical for routine monitoring
I started using this litter additive as an extra way to keep an eye on my cats’ litter box habits, and I’ve been very pleased with how simple and practical it is. It’s easy to use—there’s no need to change litter, as it can be sprinkled directly on top of your regular litter. It blended in right away. Since I use a clumping litter, I can’t comment on clumping performance, but I didn’t notice any increase in dust, which I appreciate. The results are quick and easy to read. It honestly feels a bit like a small chemistry experiment, which brings out the scientist in me—in a good way. I like that it focuses on detecting changes related to blood rather than just general litter conditions, which feels more meaningful for routine monitoring. The product is designed to last for an extended period, though I personally deep clean the litter box weekly, so I haven’t tested it beyond that timeframe. Even with weekly maintenance, it still feels cost-effective and provides extra peace of mind. Overall, this is a simple, non-invasive, and easy-to-use addition to a regular litter box routine. A practical option for cat parents who want an extra layer of awareness without changing their current setup.

Great for monitoring cat bladder health
I found these after my vet had suggested a urine test for my cat as part of a regular check-up. I didn't want her to have to go through the procedure (and pay for it) if it wasn't needed so got this instead. The package is smaller than I had thought but there's enough for more than one litter box in my opinion. The point of it is to detect abnormalities in urine and I think it does that well. It's very lightweight, doesn't really have a smell. It clumped together with the litter that was in the box so I believe it's somewhat clumping. I went ahead and bought three bags so I can do checks every now and then. You just never know with cats.

Nice to have on hand
Great to have on hand when your kitty starts using the litter box too frequently. Pebbles are larger and white than the litter, so they're easy to keep your eye on them.

A waste of good money
Took a picture of the results to my vet and he said it didn't show him anything. A waste of good money

Good cat litter, wish clumping was better
Very nice cat litter. I wish that it clumped better, but it does a decent job. I like the natural feel of it for my kitty’s paws.

I would recommend this product.
I am a multi cat household, as such the quality of litter I use is important. I have used this brand for more than 10 years. They recently came out with this version which i can say has helped with the odor of freshly dropped cat poop. I would recommend this product

Requires A LOT of Blood to Activate
I tested it (with my own blood) - the good news, the crystals do turn blue when sprinkled with blood; the bad news, it takes a lot of blood to activate the crystals. First, I dropped couple of drops of my blood (pricked a finger) into about 1/2 inch of water and pour it over crystals, the crystals did not react (remained white); then I put about 3 drops of blood on crystals directly and dripped some water over, this time crystals turned blue, but my blood was directly on crystals. So, if you see blue crystals in the litter box it means that your cat's urine has A LOT of blood in it, not just a trace.

A Great Tool for Monitoring My Cats’ Health
I’ve been using The World’s Best Litter for about four years now, and I recently decided to try The World’s Best Boost Health Check. I have two cats, and since they’ve had urinary crystals in the past, I wanted to ensure everything was still okay. I purchased two bags—one for each litter box—and I was overall very happy with the product. I simply added a bag of the Boost to each box after fresh litter and sprinkled it evenly on top. There was more than enough in each bag, and I appreciated how careful placement made it easy to distribute. After using it, I didn’t notice any change in my cats' litter color, which is a good sign—they’re doing just fine. I’m really glad to have this option for monitoring their health, and I’ll definitely keep using it to stay proactive about their well-being.
