Great Classic Milk Frother!
This frother was outstanding, albeit expensive. You pay for the quality and the breville name. Is it worth it? Let's find out! Design The design of the breville milk Cafe frother is somewhat the standard nowadays with the base control and warmer, and the detachable picture / frother. This has beThis has become the standard and best design in my opinion, giving you the option to wash the frother in the picture without damaging the electronic element heating portion of the frother. This also allows you the option to put the frother in the dishwasher in certain cases. As far as color options, I could only find this frother in stainless steel. Utility The breville milk Cafe frother quite versatile allowing you to mix as well as froth, and froth at different frothing levels. You can froth for cappuccino to latte, you can froth cold and hot or you can mix hot chocolate or other powdered drinks. Is a dial to control the speed and heat. Most other frothers use buttons for this functionality. Quality The breville milk Cafe frother is sturdy and metal, giving the feel of a well-built product. It feels slightly heavier than other frothers in this segment and looks classic compared to others. I've owned several breville products over the years, and this is quite characteristic of the brand. Speed and effectiveness Frothing with the breville milk Cafe frother was very easy, and pretty fast from a comparison point of view. I would say it was a bit more fast from cold to 150° then most other frothers. Although it frothed very well, it could do a bit better with frothing microfoam.

Up your coffee experience
This milk steamer/frother has been one of the best gifts to myself I have ever given. It makes my coffee experience so much better than my previous addition of cold milk onto my brewed coffee - which just made my coffee cold and so limited how much I could add. Now I can add as much milk as I please to taste and the temperature of the drink stays hot. I love that I can choose my temperature preference, and the foam it makes is a nice texture and fun to spoon on and dabble in when cleaning up. It is pretty easy to clean with only two pieces: the disk and the container (the little indentation on the very bottom of the carafe is the only slightly harder thing: I have to smush up a paper towel to dry it or otherwise water gets stuck in there, but it gets the job done). The stainless steel material also adds to the quality feel. On very rare occasions, it will beep in the middle of heating for unclear reasons and also rarely not heat all the way, but this has only happened about 3 times since I got it, and it was fixed by just pushing the button again. I have had this for a year and it is going strong.

Still going strong after nearly 10 years
I bought this frother almost 10 years ago and it’s still part of my daily routine. Every morning I use it to make homemade lattes along with the Breville espresso machine. Together, they might be the best purchases I’ve ever made. I was one of the those people who bought an expensive coffee every morning before I invested in these so they have easily paid for themselves many times over. After 10 years this frother still works perfectly and I prefer it over the milk/foam you can manually steam using the espresso maker. It’s simple to use, easy to clean, and clearly built to last like other Breville products. Takes about 2 minutes to heat milk with a nice foam head. If you’re serious about making café quality drinks at home, this is a must-have in my opinion.

Gets the milk extra hot!!!
This is my 5th purchase in my search for a good milk frother and so far this unit is excellent. I look for a few things and Breville ticks most of the boxes: 1. Capacity - this unit froths a lot of milk 2. Temperature- because I like to have a 20 oz latte each morning and I drink slow, I need a hot coffee at 160 degrees or more. This unit gets the milk well past 160 and I had to turn the dial down, which is a good thing 3. Foamability- the latte attachment gives me more than enough foam. I haven't used the cappuccino attachment but I gather you'll get more than enough. 4. Easy to clean - I hate when you have to scrub the burnt milk from the bottom. That didn't happen with this unit but milk did cling to the sides. Not a big deal. The jug is dishwasher safe which is a nice feature. 5. Longevity - TBD. My Breville Creatista Plus Nespresso maker broke down right after the 2 year warranty. I'm hopeful this unit will do better.

Solid home frother mostly good but with a few quirks
I’ve been using the Breville Milk Café Frother for a few weeks now, and overall I’m pleased. It froths milk nicely for lattes, cappuccinos, and hot chocolate, the foam is creamy and smooth, and it seems to bring out a richer, more café-like texture. The unit feels well-made, and the stainless-steel build gives it a sturdy, high-quality feel. Heating is quick and the operation is quiet enough for home use. That said, it’s not perfect. The capacity is a bit small if you often make more than two drinks at a time. Cleanup is manageable but the bottom of the pitcher gets a bit tricky to clean if milk dries on it. And because it’s automatic, you don’t get as much control over froth thickness or temperature as you might with a manual frother or steaming wand. This is a good home-use frother if you want convenience and decent results for regular drinks. But if you’re aiming for barista-level precision or larger volume drinks, you might want something more powerful or with more capacity.

WORKS VERY WELL.

I like this product a lot, it has hot/cold settings and 2 different attachments so you can get more of a foam vs froth. It's very easy to clean and works well. I've tried with cream, 2% milk and oat milk filled to the minimum line and it makes a nice amount in about 2-5 mins. If the attachment is loose it will stop, so safety of the machine is pretty strong.

This is the fourth type of milk frother that I have purchased. This one is worth the money spent. I have been using it every day for 7 months and it continues to make delicious frothy milk. Great with the hot chocolate making too. It is easy to clean due to the cup being removable from the base, that it is stainless steel, not painted, and the frothing mechanism is low and easily removed. Easiest one I have ever had to clean. Breville is my go to for products these days as they are well built with good design and engineering. A few caveats I have noticed that may affect how the froth turns out: How old is the milk and how much milk I put in. From the photo you can see it has perfect froth. Starbucks is a thing of the past. My $6 coffee now costs Pennie’s and most of it is made while I do other things!
