Assault Fitness Runner Pro - Better Than a Motorized Treadmill - Great for HIIT, Cardio, and Endurance Training - Motorless

This is a major piece of equipment, the real deal. Assembly was oddly easy. It took me2-3 times to get used to, no different than any new piece of exercise equipment. The trick is to just walk or run naturally and the machine reacts naturally. Once you use this you can't go back to a traditional treadmill. The real test however was each of my 4 Grandchildren (4, 5, 5, 6) got on and were able to use it instantly, it was amazing! A nice additional benefit...I have some severe nerve and balance issues and this type of machine is great for your balance. To the person above, they sell a water bottle holder for $39.99. I have been working out most of my life and have a huge home gym, I am a lot VERY VERY HAPPY with this machine! UPDATE: I enjoy this machine more the longer I use it. I used a $13,000 version at a spa this past week and the resistance adjustment was the only noticeable difference for 10,000 more. This is a spectacular piece of equiptment and a great value.

First let me say the treadmill is everything I hoped it would be. Solid, quiet, and perfect for me. The delivery was a nightmare. They sent a text 3 days early and said it was on the way and I needed to be home. Thankfully I can work from home if needed, but I question why they had me schedule the delivery if the date was not followed. When the truck arrived, my treadmill was knocked over onto a bunch of other people's boxes in the back of the truck. They had set it on end and not secured it, so it fell over. Because it is roughly 350 lbs. the only way they could pick it up was to stand on other boxes and push it up. Once inside the box had many OBVIOUS holes from getting mishandled, so they nicely pushed that side against a wall, took a picture of the only undamaged side, then left as fast as they could without having me sign anything. I took pictures of everything as they delivered just in case. Once they left, I opened and carefully inspected everything and the good news is Assault Fitness packages the treadmill to protect against shippers like this, so my treadmill was fine.

My husband and I used to go to the gym specifically for the Curve machine. We loved it so much that we wanted to purchase one for our in-home gym. But with a starting price over $5K, we just couldn’t justify the purchase. That’s when we started looking at the Assault Runner. The Assault Runner is comparable, and at a much more affordable price!!! The belt is very quiet and smooth. The screen is easy very legible and easy to use - keeps track of my run stats without any problems! When we ordered the machine, we were worried about the assembly process. But it was SO EASY!!!! The bottom portion (the belt) comes already assembled. So it’s literally like 4 separate portions that you have to put together. I’m not very handy and it took me less than an hour from start to finish. (I’m also not very strong and needed my husband to tighten some of the bolts. So it would definitely take somebody else way less time.) All in all, this was a great purchase!!!

Love it, put alot of miles since owning it. Thanks to Amazon for selling these. Had a screen go bad, was replaced promptly from Assault Fitness.

I purchased this treadmill and it came with the box damaged and the belt was crooked because of how it was left when they dropped it off. I sent them videos of all of this. Nonetheless, I put it together and it worked. However,I noticed that there was an very faint but unusual sound. I sent them videos about that too. So on the very last day that I had the chance to return this to Amazon where they would come and do all the work to pick it up and package it and give me a full refund… I called the manufacturer and they promised me that if it didn’t resolve after the treadmill has been used for a certain amount of miles that they would send someone out to come look at it. I could have returned this treadmill for a full refund on that day that I contacted the manufacturer. And I told them this was the case. What I wanted them to do was to come out to my houseright away to take a look at it and fix it. Instead, I chose to trust them so I kept the treadmill because they said they would follow through with fixing it if the problem did not resolve after a certain amount of mileage. The treadmill is slightly over the amount of mileage and it is still making the odd sound. It also feels like it’s slightly dragging which causes my right hip to hurt when I use it. When I do the same exercise outside, I don’t have an issue with my right hip. I have reached out to them by email over two weeks ago. Their auto email reply says to not email that particular email address again twice or creates issues so I have honored those instructions. I have called them nobody picks up the phone, but you can request a call back which I did multiple times. No one calls back. I even emailed a different email. And the person manning that email replied immediately telling me that they would forward the information to customer service so they could help me. However, no one has taking the time to follow through and honor what they told me even though they sent me an email letting me know that they would take care of me if it was still an issue. So, they can clearly see that this was their idea. I should’ve just returned it on that day. If this company gets back to me and honor is their commitment, I will delete this review. If they never contact me then test review will stay here and I will contact multiple places like the BBB and California state level organizations that protect consumers when companies are not following through with their commitments. Honestly, they’re leaving me no choice but to do this because they’re ghosting me. That is not OK.
