I have been using this chair daily for 1.5 months mostly indoors. I was able to compareit with two other folding chairs, both more expensive and heavier. The Zurcheel is rightfor anyone who can sit uncramped in an arm chair with 17” seat width. Seat height is 19”above the floor. For a higher position you can add one or two 2” foam exercise pads. Theyare inexpensive and easily found on the internet.The narrow chair of the Zurcheel makes it MUCH EASIER to navigate through door-ways. It is also easy to change between power and manual modes, and to defeat or restorethe beep-beep-beep alarm that sounds when you drive in reverse gear. For each actionyou push a button and a lit diode confirms the action.. These actions are much morecumbersome in the two comparison chairs. The Zurcheel chair has both electric and handbrakes, while the comparison chairs have only electric. I am sure that the electric brakesare adequate, but I find it reassuring to have both, and I do use both.Wheelchair brands usually emphasize the mileage range of their models in advertise-ments. I think it more useful to determine the number of hours needed to recharge thebatteries fully after a typical period since the last charge. In this case I had not chargedin 3 days of mild use. The charge display has 3 of its 5 diodes lit, indicating about 50%charge. It took 4 hrs, 15 mins to bring it back to full charge.It was surprising to me to find that the Zurcheel chair has so many appealing features.It is a very good chair and a very good value, but not perfect. It can be underpowered oncarpet, especially in rooms with thicker carpet. When I encounter this I simply switchto a higher gear, problem solved.

There is so much I can say about this chair! It has a a different feel as far a the durability of the frame , ease of mobility, the foot rest of smaller so I don’t hit as many things. I have 2 batteries now, so my ‘drive time’ is longer!

I purchased a Zurcheel Foldable Electric Chair November 2024; six months later on Mothers Day 5/11/25, the chair WENT DANGEROUSLY WILD, throwing my wife into furniture causing a laceration and multiple contusions to her legs, arms, and leaving her victimized with general DISTRESS from this unforeseeable accident. Fortunately, our pets, family members were not in the way of this SCARY WILD RIDE, just (hard) furniture and my wife calling for “HELP!”—On Amazon, the Customer Service telephone number for Zurcheel does not go to Zurcheel at all.—The suggested by Zurcheel fixes are TOO DANGEROUS TO EVEN ATTEMPT.—My wife who very much needs a Mobile Chair for her disability is now anxious, fearful, and a true VICTIM from this OUT OF CONTROL Foldable Electric Chair.—As of this posting, our problems remain unresolved; contacting counsel, I hope an unnecessary option.—BEWARE of this actual possibly rare event happening to you or your loved ones.

when I broke the arm that holds the joy stick I was able to contact the vendor and they sent me a replacement arm!!! They were easy to work with and got me up and rolling!!!

It was the easiest chair to put together and I am 83 years old. Easy directions and easy to follow instructions. It has lived up to my expectations. Love the comfort of the seat and the color.

This chair would be fine for a very small person on totally flat ground.

The price was right, and the functions are great. I am a little disappointed in the bulk, as it looked a little more compact. Not the end of the world, but it did not fit in the back of the SUV as well as I thought it would. Great value for the money. My wife, who uses it as she cannot walk long distances, loves it; that is what counts. Easy to use in restaurant.
