A Kids' Guide to Manners: 50 Fun Etiquette Lessons for Kids (and Their Families) Review: Educational, inspiring, empowering - This book is an essential guide for kids to learn good manners. It is not about old rules but the good and crucial manners that can make kids well-behaved, confident, kind, and "well-functioning global citizens," as the author said. Every chapter is subdivided into small lessons. For example, the significant chapter about "Parties, sleepovers, dances, and special occasions" includes lessons about "Invitation and RSVP Etiquette, Being a Guest, Giving Gifts, Getting Gifts, Thank-You Notes, Dressing for the Occasion, and more. Some chapters explore delicate and complex themes like Rumors and Gossip, Listening, Texting, Rules for Being Safe Online, and more. Each lesson opens questions and sparks lively discussions with parents, which makes this book a must-have. Last but not least, each lesson is accompanied by meaningful and colorful illustrations, which appeal to kids. I highly recommend this educational and inspiring book to every parent who wants to raise well-behaved kids. Review: Easily followed - Good for great grandchildren

Good little book, just missing a little info.
Good little book in a lot of aspects. Enjoyable to take turns reading with stepson. After debating between giving it 4 stars or 3, I suppose it earns 4, due to its affordable price (at under eight dollars.) Why might it earn only 3 stars? It surprises me that for all the desire to help children learn manners, it seems nearly impossible to find books or other resources that mention how children (and adults) should treat furniture. A line or two about sitting nicely, not flopping, keeping feet on the floor, etc, would have been a welcome inclusion. Perhaps it is not a prevalent issue. Or perhaps parents simply do not care to teach furniture manners as much anymore.

Good info and good ideas and fun to read
Just what I was looking for. Am giving a seminar on manners to elementary-age kids and it covers most subjects I would like to present. It has lots of good examples of what to say and what to do in different situations.

Love this book
Just a few pages in and absolutely loves this. Good back up for what I am teaching and need help with. Could be helpful for some adults that still need to know they are not the center of the universe and need a reminder that they should be good citizens.

Mind your manners
This is such a cute book. I think I am more into it than my seven-year-old but I’m still reading it to him.
