Very good value
This is a quality cleaver, the size, weight, ergonomics, and steel are all very good. The finish and attention to detail are in a class of items selling for twice the price. It comes very sharp right out of the box. This is a mid range cleaver capable of doing 90% of tasks in a kitchen, not a heavy pork chop cutter, and not a real thin vegetable knife. A 90 lb. weakling, with a little instruction, can do tough kitchen cutting tasks with a cleaver like this. Every kitchen needs a quality cleaver, and this one is quality for a good price. I recommend it.

Great meat cleaver, thin blade makes it lite and easy to handle.
GREAT cleaver knife. Beautifully designed. Blade is very thin and makes this knife very light compared to other meat cleaver designs. It says hand wash, but I place it on the top rack and have had no problems.Great great Amazon Prime special sale price makes this a must have item for my kitchen knife collection.Remember great tools make for easier prep work...!!

Feels very natural
Nice balance and weight. First time using a cleaver. Felt very natural in my hand, slicing and dicing onions and potatoes.

Clever Cutting Edge Cleaver
This Hoshanho 7" cleaver arrived in beautiful packaging. It presented very well. The knife itself appears well-constructed and designed. It exceeded my expectations. This is a nice and, at the time of writing this review, affordable option for those in need of a cleaver. I felt no untowards vibration when using the knife. It seems balanced nicely and sturdy enough to manage prolonged use. I'm glad to have added this to my small collection of kitchen knives.All in all, I'm pleased with this cleaver. Should my experience with it change in the future, the review will be updated.

very sharp easy to cut big chuncks of meat

Good solid knife
Outstanding for the cost, easy to use and comfortable handle. I have big hands and don't hit the cutting board chopping veg with it.The only improvement I could see is revealing the spine a bit, as it bites my palm when choking up on the blade
