Really bright set. Gives you a reassuring sense of safety.
I had a different LED for my evening rides, but I found it lacking, so I got this LED light set. The front headlight is crazy bright; I feel like I’m lighting up the entire road ahead, which makes me feel so much safer navigating through darker streets. The five light modes are super handy depending on where you're cycling—whether it’s a steady beam on city roads or a flashing mode for extra visibility on trails. The taillight is equally impressive. I love that it's compact but powerful, and other riders or cars can spot me from a great distance. Plus, the USB rechargeability is such a convenience.Installation was a breeze and the mounts/clamps are durable; my bike has been through some bumps, and these lights hold their ground. It’s so reassuring knowing both my safety is taken care of. My evening rides around the neighborhood and in the busy city are now something I look forward to with zero worries about visibility.Worth every penny! If you’re on the fence—go for it!

The best value in effective and safe bike lighting available, period
I build my own bikes, including one of the best road/commuter ebikes in the world. This light has been perfect for my night time mountain biking. The front light is bright enough on the low level for coverage. I've not had to use the higher two levels but might on a road bike at night where I might need a longer view. Don't forget that holding the power button a few seconds switches to flashing mode, perfect for daytime or twilight to get the attention of drivers or other trail users. The little red rear light is also a great feature and value added, easy to use and key to being seen from behind!I find I get about 6 hours of ride time out of a charge on the front light, something like 4 hours at 3 bars of charge then 2 hours at 2 bars of charge. It does fail quickly once it gets to a single bar of charge. I've got around 30 hours on my pack so far. For night riding, always carry a backup, like a mag light. The unit is small and mounts easily, as does the battery pack, with much flexibility of where to put the battery. For night mountain biking in twisty trails I would recommend a helmet-mounted light, too, so you can see where you're looking before you've turned this front light in that direction. But for most bike trails and relatively straight runs this light is sufficient. You can spend a lot more money, but this unit has very effective front and back lights, a light and small battery pack, and easy mounting leaves no excuse for not riding with the safety of lights front and rear.Update: Since writing this review I've had two problems with the red tail light. First, the screw that holds the light into the frame worked lose and the light fell off at night, unbeknownst to me. Fortunately, it was at night, so I was able to retrace my trail and find it! I used loctite on the threads to seal the screw back into the frame through the rubber seal. It wasn't long after that that I fortunately heard the unit fall off again on pavement and found that the screw head had pulled through the rubber seal. I put a steel washer between the screw head and rubber seal and again with loctite on the threads, so that should hold it. I'm not reducing my rating on this light as the value and function is still fantastic, but I'd be pretty pissed if I had to buy another tail light for these simple design quality issues with the tail light. Even so, the main light would be a great deal even if I had to buy a separate tail light. Also, I wouldn't depend on the little tail light alone for riding in or near traffic in any level of daylight; it's too small. At night it's fine. In daylight on roads I ride with a much brighter, flashing red light mounted on the back of my helmet for elevated visibility.

UPDATED******stopped working after only 2 months--replaced and working great
I originally bought this light late summer and when it stopped working after only 2 months, I tried every thing to get it working again. I looked all over for a way to contact the manufacturer or to find an owner's manual or even a troubleshooting guide. Nothing. My only recourse at that point was to leave a bad review on Amazon. I was just about to buy a new light (made by someone else) when I got an email from the seller. They offered to replace the light for me free of charge after seeing my review. Overall, I feel like their customer service is really good. And since I seem to be the only person that's had a problem with the product, I'm willing to chalk it up to it just being a defective item. My one quibble would be that if there had been a way to contact them I wouldn't have had to leave a bad review. But regardless, they seemed happy to take care of me and as long as I have a product that works as advertised, I'm not going to be too upset about it. At this point, I wouldn't hesitate to buy their products again because I know that even if something is wrong with it, they'll replace it.My original review is below for reference although I do have a new light and its working as expected.I bought and used this light throughout the late summer. It seemed great at first. Its bright, the charge lasts a long time (although the charge indicator light is pretty ineffective). Everything seemed fine until one day it stopped working. I let the battery discharge entirely, recharged it and still it doesn't work. There is no troubleshooting or FAQ on the manufacturer's website. Not surprisingly, there is no way to contact them either. Its an inexpensive light, but not if you have to replace it every 3 months.

Superb lighting solution for the price - good customer service. One complaint (read below).
I ordered this as our son needed a flashing light set for commuting to/from work. He often returns quite late in the evening on his electric bike. The set arrived in good shape - yet it was missing a key part for mounting one of the front bar pieces (a second mounting point is needed to control the horn and easily cycle through light modes). This was rectified very quickly. The horn could be louder, I suppose, but that would require a much larger front light unit. It is still very usable. The flashing light patterns are very effective. My main criticism concerns the length of cable in the front from light unit to controller. It needs to be an additional 4-6 inches long to allow for more possible mounting positions/solutions.Overall, this is a great 'bang for the buck' solution. Recommended.
