Solution 30 Lens Cleaner 150ml

For years I'd cleaned my spectacles by running them under stream of warm water (to remove gritty particles) and then using mild detergent to de-grease the lenses. Then I'd simply blow the little droplets of water off the lenses! Result, sparkling, clean, smear-free spectacles. However, lens manufacturers did something to their lens coatings and detergents caused them to 'craze' just like the paving-so very annoying.Solution 30 is a good alternative. I still run them under a stream of warm water to rid the lenses of abrasive grit, I blow off the water, spray Solution 30 onto the lenses and use a clean microfibre cloth to polish the lenses. It works well but you must keep changing the microfibre cloth, say every week, and wash them without fabric softeners to achieve good results. Solution 30 does not prevent misting as other lens cleaners do, but I find those lens cleaners are more likely to leave smears.I prefer my old detergent method, but Solution 30 is a good alternative.

The reason I haven't given this product a perfect rating, is that I don't beleive that anything is absolutely perfect. Having said that, this is the best product of its type, in my opinion*, for general use on most lenses VdU's, etc, and I always try and buy it, if I can. I like the fact that it does exactly what it says on the can, which is not always the case with other products which are supposedly designed for this purpose, as mentioned. Put simply, they don't work properly. I would recommend this product.

Modern spectacle lens coatings seem to attract more airborne gunk than they used to. Unfortunately, using Fairy Liquid to clean your spec's may no longer be an option with some coatings.I use this excellent product to clean not only spectacle lenses but those on my field glasses and the C.R.T. TV screen. If they are accessible, Solution 30 also does a great job of cleaning the laser lenses in C.D. and D.V.D. players (check that you won't void the warranty by opening the case). Just spray some onto a cotton wool bud and gently wipe, you'll notice the improvement immediately.Before spraying I would always recommend rinsing your spec's with water first in order to remove any dust and potentially abrasive grit.

Been getting glasses cleaner from opticians and it no good . I found this stuff and is really go stuff would recommend it will be buy more

i've waited until the can was finished before writing a considered review on this product.unfortunately in summary i can say it doesn't work as well as water based pumped products that i've used previously.due to its properties i've found that i can't use tissues to clean my specs with this and have consequently resorted to using polishing cloths.however i've found that i can't use a cloth more than once if i want my specs to get properly clean, so i am constantly laundering the cloths so that they can be used againalso, sometimes i find it very difficult to remove all smears from the lenses when using this product - on occasion i've resorted to cleaning them again with the above mentioned water-based cleaner in order to achieve an acceptably clean finish.i can't say i've noticed a reduction in misting of the lenses, but in any case for me that wouldn't be enough to make up for the problems i've mentioned above

Good glasses cleaner and leaves a pleasant smell. It was delivered very quickly and was handed to me by the driver.Packing was appropriate.

For the longest time I have been looking for a solution that would be able to clean my glasses without leaving any obnoxious streaks and marks on the lenses. This product goes above and beyond in regards to cleaning glasses. The solution can easily clean away any dirt and grime from glasses lenses. It lasts for a long time so it is definitely worth a try!
